Kisei was waiting impatiently, scanning the area around for the children he had sent the message too. He didn't want to wait any longer, especially as this was time sensitive. He needed to leave as soon as possibly, and there was a ship already prepared. Tilting his head down to block away the sun, he shifted uncomfortably. Would they stand him up? If they took to long he would leave without them. Regardless he would wait a bit longer... He didn't want to go alone. Reaching around to make sure his kage hat was still strapped to his back, he went to slide the symbolic head ware upwards and place it on properly, doing his best to adjust it blocked out the sun.

Moving to walk up the wooden plank onto the small ship that would be transporting them, he gave a quick thank you to the elderly captain that would be taking the team to their destination. Until the others got here he could just wait, and wait he did, leaning hmself back against the wall that separated the deck from the insides of the Captain's room.

[I know this is short, but we need to get out of here ASAP]

From the village, the young genin had made his take-off. His plan had been one of slow revenge, waiting his time until he could strike the kage in the back on a mission. He had thought he could wait, but now the genin had decided his time had come to act. Five kunai in eachhand, his mind was steeled and his body ready to strike. Vendetta would soon be his.

The young genin decided to stay up a ways from the ship, approximately forty meters. Though his bukijutsu was not the best, it would be fine for this task. Raising his hands, he flung with kunai with all the accuracy and strength he could impose. As well as throwing them, he infused the blades with lightning chakrausing hien, increasing their cutting power as well as their length. The normally four inch long blades were elongated to eight inches.

The blades would soar sliently through the air. Accountinf for wind, movement of the target, and the rocking of the boat, the kunai from the heavens would strike the mizukage with two in his shoulder, two in his head, and two in his back, while the last four would embed themselves in the area around him and the attached explosive tags would detonate, killing the man if he survived the barrage.

The genin waited in his vantage point to see how the mizukage would react.

Secret Mission Empty
PostSubject: Re: Secret Mission   Secret Mission Empty3/28/2014, 2:26 pm

Kisei let a short breath of hot air escape from between his lips, it spreading out before him in a visible puff of moisture. It was colder outside right now than the young Mizukage was comfortable with, and he didn't dress the warmest. Silk did a good job of keeping the cold out, but not that good of a job. He really should wear warmer clothing under this. But that was worries for another day. He was too busy currently scanning the long docks that made up the made the central port of Kirigakure no Sato. It was busy like always, the commercial center of the city relying on imports to produce products that they could sell and export, or local artisans to produce for the people's needs. Being around so many people wasn't exactly comforting to Kiseichu, but it was something that he had to do. For this mission anyway he had an actual reason to want to leave port. It was taking too long to have his little Mistlings prepare themselves. While they should have their time to prepare for such an important mission like this, and the kage did give the mission under short notice, it was still important to be brisk in getting to their location.

In the docks was nobody of much importance. The average sailor was no concern of his, and he no concern of theirs. Various shinobi would come down to his location for missions, and while the Mizukage was no mere shinobi, he was still not something unexpected or foreign to the docks. They could have thought he was going anywhere to do anything. Most likely on some diplomatic meeting, as he had his fancy hat on. He should really take this off when he got there, as it would be a huge sign to who he was and what village he was from. The way he justified his continued hat wearing was by the fact that people would most likely already recognize him, and thus wearing the hat wouldn't make things any worse.

All these various thoughts of his traveled through his head in the mere time of several seconds, the Mizukage's natural shrillness and coiled muscles working just as his brain did. In a oxymoron it could be described as a speeding racecar taking the most cautious approach while maintaining the highest speed. This was why when a chakra signature entered the area he would enter his own little stage of shock, attempting as he could to identify the person who had entered. It was curious and strange, something that put him on high alert, especially how the chakra signature was rather high above him and some way behind him, being to the west and out in an area where there was nothing but clear water. He almost went to make a motion to turn around and look over the top of the cabin that rest over top the boat, but that was when a much more worrying thing alerted him through his sensory skill. There were several projectiles of chakra coming right for him, having left the unknown person's hands around a quarter second before he noticed. His reflect were sharp from his years of training his body back at his homeland as well as the years of battle and war that he had experienced, identifying projectiles of chakra after they had separated themselves from the larger source of chakra - what appeared to him to be a jutsu and what appeared to be an assassin attacking him from behind. That was all the reason the Mizukage needed to remove the threat, a sign of aggression.

Six handsignss were made. Tiger – Dog – Monkey – Snake – Boar – Tiger. The collection of handsigns were completed faster than the eye could even see, his hands appearing as a blur to the average man. It only took him half a second in total to complete all six of them. And thus he activated his all purpose trump card – Water-Heavens Convergence, an ability that would allow him to manipulate water at whim and use it to turn into whatever form he should wish. This was the ultimate defense as well as the ultimate offense when in wet areas that had a large amount of water. The port and ocean next to it being one of those prime locations where there was a large amount of water. This was obviously one of those said locations, being that they were at the port on a somewhat misty day. On his call, water rose up from the very ocean itself and moved to intercept the thrown projectiles. As the strong winds had slightly lowered the speed of the objects that were being thrown throughout the air as well as the speed of the ocean water, the watery wall managed to rise up and completely absorb, submerging them under the wall, loosing all momentum instantly at the meter thick wall of water hit them from underneath and sucked them in. Raiton chakra flowed down through the wave and into the ocean floor, the minute amounts of water quickly being lost to the depths that the ocean was. What was several burning explosive tags were put out by the water that intercepted them, the very fact they had explosive tags being completely unknown to Kiseichu.

What he did know though, was that as he had stopped this attack before he could hit, and just around half a meter before they would have crashed into the boat, that he had a few less things to worry about. Of course the assassin was still a problem that he had to deal with. And that was exactly what he would do. The very mist in the air and natural humidity in the air focused itself around the genin, 40 meters up in the air. As Water-Heavens Convergence had a range of a 40 meter radius from this user, this man was just barely able to be stuck. And that was what would happen. The water took a second to shape itself, the mist before Willcox forming into a large number of senbon, most likely in the range of one to two hundred. These watery weapons were just as potent as the real things, having a needle point that would easily pierce through flesh. And as they were formed a single meter away from the boy in the timespan of a second then he would have little time to actually dodge or even notice the hundred little floating needles that were the same color as the water and mist. A second after their formation they would fire themselves, the chakra infused in them allowing a great amount of momentum and speed being achieved in the little space between them and Willcox. As there was such a large number of the needles, they would be aimed in a even spread throughout his body, several coming from an angle fifteen degrees different then the main group in either direction, allowing the senbon to spread across an ark around the boy. This would assure that even if Willcox moved left or right to dodge these weapons that he would still be hit. The wall of water that had been used to block the kunai was still in place, spreading out to cover the entire west side of the boat in a meter thick wall of cold seawater that would be extremely difficult to get anything through.

Secret Mission Empty
PostSubject: Re: Secret Mission   Secret Mission Empty3/29/2014, 10:33 pm

The genin was truly in deep shit now, or at least he would have been if he were truly a moron and had not accounted for the idea of being caught. As it was Willcox was a truly a follower of the idea that a plan B was always necessary. For him it was merely a matter of timing. At the same moment that the mizukage had shown even a slight hint of alarm, Willcox enacted his plan B.

You see there is a second ability to explosive tags that makes them even more deadly than they first appear. This ability is the property of remote detonation, which allows the user to control where the tag actually detonates, giving it an especially dangerous unpredictability. Willcox himself also had a second ability, this one making him particularly skilled in combat with one hand. In this situation, it would prove crucial to his survival.

At the very moment that the mizukage showed surprise on his face, Willcox used the lapse between the time that the man formed the hand-seals and the time that the water would consume the kunai to form two of his own, one with his right and one with his left. The one on his right activated the remote detonation of the explosive tags, while the one on his left activated body flicker. A such, his body would move backwards out of the range of the water heavens convergence till he was at 65 meters.

As the kunai with the tags had traveled along their path, while they had started out merely an inch apart, the projectiles had different angles and by the time that the mizuage had activated his jutsu, they were lass than half a meter from the boat when the water would begin to rise. at this point they would have approximately a foot of distance between each one. Thus at thee very moment of explosion, the entire radius of said explosion would be around 9.5 feet in diameter or 2.9 meters. The explosion itself would also propel the the six kunai at an even greater rate towards the mizukage as they were aided by the force of the explosion. Whereas before they would be traveling at the speed of a tai jutsu specialist, they would now most likely be on par with a taijutsu master.

These two facts combined would cause the kunai to quickly be taken out of reach of the water technique before it could grab them. The explosion itself would take out a massive chunk of the boat, and the force itself would definitely catch the mizukage by surprise. However, Willcox no longer cared about actually making sure of the mizukage's death. He realized he made a mistake. Already he could feel his chakra depleting quickly. He had less than a ten points left, and so he made the decision to end the battle. Moving backwards more, he fell to a dock just over 100 meters from the most likely destroyed vessel. The dock was almost empty do to the bystanders running towards the boat.

He had no doubt that the mizukage would probably survive. In all honesty, Willcox doubted from the beginning he would be able to take the man's life, but he knew that all it took to kill a god was show the people that it could bleed. With a sigh, he ran, his feet making barely making any sound as they darted along the boards. He actually felt satisfied the the mizukage had survived. It meant he had a chance to kill him up close with his bare-hands some day instead of running like a coward.

However, Willcox would soon collapse as he felt himself falling into unconsciousness. Being just inches from the edge of the dock, his body would fall into the water. As the light of the world faded away and the docks of kirigakure slipped away meter by meter, he could feel the water pull him out to sea. Finally he slipped fully into unconsciousness as massive wave overcame him and he was left to the mercy of the ocean, his home now barely a small line in the distance.

Secret Mission Empty
PostSubject: Re: Secret Mission   Secret Mission Empty3/30/2014, 8:52 am

The Mizukage quirked an eyebrow as the hundred or so senbon impacted and impaled themselves into the would be assassin. Instead of making any move to actually dodge them or get out of the way, the boy foolishly decided to say still and not move in his spot in the air, which of course led to his doom. The wall of water that had previously covered the west side of the boat was sunk down, moving in an ark to catch the boy's falling corpse as his flight jutsu came undone, the senbon having peirced several important viens in the boy's neck and face, as well as impaling through both eyes. Several had peirced through his ribs and directly into his heart, the Mizukage's knowlage of the body coming in handy for knowing where to kill an oponate. The wall of water moved out from the sea and deposited the corpse onto the dock, the senbon releasing into a water that mingled with the blood that was now flowing from the body in small quantities. It was a shame. Now that the Mizukage could turn and look over at his would be killer, he was struck by a wave of disapointment – It was a genin that he had been training. Willcox Sundersan. He couldn't think of any motive that the boy would have for doing this... It must have been a power grab or he was a spy of some sorts. That was the only explanation.

But his foolish assassination attemp had one large flaw in it. He was fighting against the Mizukage. As he attacked from behind the Mizukage, and the Mizukage was leaning his back against the wall of the main cabin of the boat it was impossible for either of them to make direct eyecontact. And as the Mizukage was also wearing his large triangular hat that blocked out any sort of sunlight of vision from above, the boy was never able to see his face. And thus as he was never able to see surprise on the Mizukage's face, or the Mizukage in general, he had no reason to activate any sort of explosive release or even use body flicker, as the boy wasn't some sort of psychic. It was also rather foolish to think that the young boy could outspeed a Ninjutsu Master such as the Mizukage in things along the lines of handseals, especially as the lapse of time between the handseals being formed for Water Heaven's Convergence (Which the boy couldn't even seen Kisei preform due to him being out of sight and behind the cabin on the boat) and the needles speeding towards him were around one second. This also asks the question of how the boy even knew about the Mizukage having said ability, or the exacty range of it. None the less, the boy was dead and in a bloody mess on the dock.

Walking over and off the boat, Kisei stepped onto the dock and frowned. It was truly a shame that this happened. A shame. Both in the boy's life being lost and that he had betrayed his leader. A true shame. Kneeling over the corpse of the boy he would search his body, taking any scrolls and weaponry he could find to scavenge anything that could be scavenged. This included the legendary sword Kubikiribo, the Executioner's Blade. This legendary sword was what Kisei was truly after, but it never hurt to collect everything that he possibly could. And such with all the matieral stripped from the boy's corpse he would pull a medium sized scroll out of the seal that was hidden on the inside of his sash, sealing the boy's bare body away for further use.

It was a true shame. And with that he exited, a bitter taste in his mouth from the entire situation.

[Exit]
