Hisoka is a man of average height of six foot, perhaps weighing more than the average for someone at such a height but that his due in fact to his muscular build. Be it his arms, legs, chest, abs, regardless, he has toned and defined muscles from the years of training and being a Shinobi. His skin is rather pale compared to most, though this is simply due to Takigakure not being the sunniest of places. Though he is much paler underneath areas of clothing, resulting in tan lines but such does not matter. He wears standard Shinobi clothing for those in his village, though he also wears a sleeveless black overcoat. The overcoat consists of various pockets on both the inside and out, for Hisoka to utilize to store whatever he may please. The overcoat is usually atleast partially zipped up, but such is not always the case. Moving on to features, Hisoka's hair is obviously shaggy, hanging below his eyes at some times. His hair his a dark brown, while his eyes are a light greyish blue. His facial features give him what some could find and intimidating stare, but regardless the man does not and is not capable of looking like a weakling. Though he can occassionally look dumb as the stoner side of him is easily confused. Adding more to his individually, the man bears various tattoos down his arms, most of them being simple tribal markings though they're is one that stands out much more clearly. On his left right arm just under the shoulder is a cross. The cross is not a simple cross but is instead a very detail wooden cross that is spiked at all ends. A ribbon stretches across the middle of this wooden cross and has the japanese symbols for "Rest in Peace". There is no name in this memorial tattoo, and though mostly dedicated to his mother and other family lost, it is also a memorial of all those he has known of that died during his life. Aside from the earlier mentioned various tribal markings, there is not much more to describe aside from the man's seemed addiction to smoking. Whether it be a blunt, pipe, or cigarette Hisoka will almost always be seen with a smoking device. His love of marijuana also causes his usually light eyes to be contrasted by streaks of an opposite color; red.
Hisoka is a strange one. His mindset would best be described as neutral, due to a conflict of the teachings of his mother and the life of which he has been forced to lead. He was taught to be a kind, caring person who put others before himself. Due to this, he has a deep loyalty to those who he considers his friend or his allies. However, the aspect of putting others before himself died along with his mother. This does not lessen his loyalty or caring for his friends, however it does mean that he is not one to go out of his way to risk his own life to save others. However should he ever develop a truly deep bond with someone once more, then he would easily risk his life to protect them as his greatest fear is losing those that mean the most to him once more. Such a fear also prevents him from easily forming such a bond however. This sense of self importance only slightly carries over to his work as a Shinobi. He will follow missions and complete them accordingly, risking his life if the conditions of the mission so require. But if the need to leave behind an ally arises Hisoka will do so without hesitation, without a hint of guilt. Hisoka does, however, harbor deep resentment towards the Uchiha Clan and Konoha itself for being the originating village of the clan. This resentment does not amount to his wanting to hunt down and attempt to slaughter them all, but rather the resentment simply transfers to Hisoka being even moreso untrusting towards those from Konohagakure or of the Uchiha Clan than he would be towards others. This is of course due to what his father, an Uchiha, did to his family.
However, on a normal day basis Hisoka is a rather friendly person. He is kind and will offer his help to those who he thinks needs it, and he is also very easy to conversate with and befriend. However due to his fear of closeness he is not one to easily share his own feelings or his own past, so he will to his best to avoid such subjects. The only other notable aspect of Hisoka's personality would be that regardless of his fear of closeness, when it comes to the fairer sex he is quite capable of faking the feelings that a male must normally protray to get into the pants of a woman. So perhaps he is a bit of a womanizer. Regardless, Hisoka is young and naive and as such not much of his personality is set in stone. He has not had to make many difficult decisions and has not had any truly difficult missions. Only time will tell what type of man Hisoka will truly grow into.
Story: Born in a shack on the outskirts of the Land of Fire, Hisoka was fathered by a notable man of the Uchiha Clan. Hisoka's father had traveled from Konoha to a nearby Village on a night where that day that had been filled with fighting with his spouse. The man simply wanted to forget about the day, and so he went to a bar and he drank himself into a stupor. He met a woman, and that night was when Hisoka was conceived. The man returned to Konoha the next day none the wiser, though neither was the woman who would later become Hisoka's mother. It was a few weeks time before the woman discovered she was pregnant, and once she did she was already slightly worried about it. But she did not let it bother her, and nine months later baby Hisoka was born.
Though technically his name would be Uchiha, Hisoka, he was an illegimate child and in such circumstances the boy would take the surname of his mother and be known as Setsuna, Hisoka. Hisoka lived a happy life in their small village, he didn't have many friends but he had enough. Although, most of his friends were jealous, due to the fact that when Hisoka and they played ninja, Hisoka seemed to simply have an innate talent for it. His mother had began to think that her initial fear from becoming pregnant was all in naught, but she couldn't have been more wrong. Hisoka's seventh birthday was coming up, and word had began to spread around the Land of Fire about the boy born in the poor village of nobodies that seemed to possess talent as a potentional Shinobi. Word had spread so far the Konoha had wanted to see what the fuss was about, and who volunteered to go? None other than the same Uchiha that had entered the small village nearly seven years ago.
It was Hisoka's birthday, and he and his mother and left the village to go visit his Grandfather. It was a short, unimportant visit but it marked the first time Hisoka became truly interested in being a Shinobi. His Grandfather was old, but was once a great ninja. His many stories entertained Hisoka to no end, and Hisoka and his mother both left with smiles on their faces and a warm place in their hearts. That all changed upon their return home.
"Mommy, where'd all that red stuff come from?" Hisoka would ask as his mother dropped to her knees and began to cry. The entire village of his had been slaughtered, and written in big red letters were the words
DON'T LET ME HEAR ABOUT YOU AGAIN.Hisoka and his mother eventually returned to his grandfathers. Confused, sad and angry, Hisoka could not do much other than weep. Next thing he knew, he was waking up the next morning to his mother and grandfather telling him to get ready. They were going to Takigakure; The village that his Grandfather had been a Shinobi in, and the birthplace of his mother. The trip was long, and took days, weeks, maybe even months. But upon arriving Hisoka found a much larger and more lively village than he was used to. If that wasn't a large enough change, on top of everyone he knew being slaughtered, his Grandfather demanded he enroll in the ninja academy and train to become a ninja. Hisoka's mother adamantly refused, and would not allow such to happen. She blamed Shinobi and their teachings for what had happened to their most recent home, and as such Hisoka would not enroll at the normal age. However, this did not keep Hisoka's grandfather from training him in secret the best he could. Indeed there was only so much a man the age of Hisoka's grandfather could still manage, he would teach Hisoka the basics and help him learn the ropes.
That marked the next change in his life; at the age of 14 his mother finally told him the truth about who his father was, that Hisoka was truly an Uchiha, and that his father had been the one who slaughtered their village all those years ago. Confused and angry that he had been lied to, Hisoka took his first step towards true self destruction just a few weeks later. He began hanging with the wrong crowd and started smoking marijuana. Lightly at first, it was soon an everyday thing. This however, had no true negative impact on his life or his skills. He continued training with his grandfather in secret, eventually leaving on a weekend trip that they lied to his mother about and deemed a simple camping trip. Upon his return from the weekend trip, Hisoka and his grandfather would walk in their home to find Hisoka's mother gone. All that remained was a small Uchiha clan symbol carved into the kitchen table. They had returned to finish the job, but luckily Hisoka had once again missed contact. His mother, was not so lucky though. Rage would bubble up from within Hisoka and as he closed his eyes to hold back tears, the first sure proof he was an Uchiha would manifest itself. Rubbing his eyes as he opened them, his Sharingan would be active for the first time. (Will purchase)
Hisoka's next life altering decision was a hard one, and that would be his decision to enroll in the ninja academy. Knowing it was against his mothers wishes made it difficult, but he did it in hopes of one day saving her or atleast learning of her fate. Hisoka had received previous training, and his Sharingan was just an added bonus. So of course he graduated rather quickly and would become a Genin of Takigakure. Before long he received his first mission, which was to watch someones dog for the weekend while they were on vacation. Oh so fun. Returning home the next week Hisoka would find a note from his grandfather stating he had received news of Hisoka's mother and would return soon. Hisoka would wait for weeks, and as he had finally resigned to the fact that his grandfather was also dead the news would be confirmed. He was called to come speak to some of the village elders, who would inform Hisoka that his grandfather went to search for his mother against their wishes and commands and had died in the process. They would further go on to state that now that Hisoka was a genin and would likely begin leaving the village soon, that his use of the Sharingan needed to be lessened. Many people sought such a power, and recovering that power was the very reason such tragedies had fallen upon his family. As such they requested that Hisoka be careful who knew of it, and to this day not many people have seen Hisoka's Sharingan or know he is an Uchiha. He is simply Hisoka Setsuna to everyone. This does not keep him, however, from training in private and wishing to unlock the secrets of the magical eye that had apparently been worth the death of everyone he knew from childhood.

Boundaries: Having several family members that have been killed, Hisoka is reluctant to take anothers life. This is not to say that he would not kill if reason arose, but he would never kill someone in cold blood. He is also not one to start conflict, though he has no problem with fighting he does not like to be the one to cause it. That way if the need to kill does arise he does not feel as if he instigated it.
