Appearance: Qilin stands at 6’ 3” and weighs at 220 pounds of chiseled muscle. He has Snow white hair that flows with an elegance and grace unheard of and soft brown eyes which nicely contrast his tainted lineage. A rarity among the Uchiha it is unclear if he is albino or just genetically different. His face and body are untouched by scars and bruises despite his aggressive nature with the exception of one. By many his form is considered perfect his movements are subtle and graceful and his cheek bones high and sculpted. He is pictured as the perfect male specimen.
His clothing is the modification of a flack jacket into a dyed blood red hide to resemble dragon scales. A thermal undersuit are black color and barely visible to the eye. It has front scroll patches on right and left lower rear slots and has a zipper up the middle spinal column, including protective shoulder pads which extend outward over the shoulders. But due to his past as a Special Ops Brigade member he is also wears the clothing from that organization as well. His clothing, when he is not on duty, is somewhat unusual: he only wears white and red of anything. Though he is rarely seen outside of his shinobi attire. When he is relaxed or during the tea ceremony he is often seen wearing a more loose fitting silk uniform decorated with cherry blossoms and ceremonial prayer beads that belonged to his father. a tall, very muscular man with long white hair and long braided bangs.
He has a scar on his chest that runs horizontal, but usually wears loose tight fitting clothes covering it. The scar was caused by a lightning jutsu when Qilin rushed in to stop him it from hitting an innocent child in Kirigakure. When he became Kage his attire changed to long draping white robes that draped over his body and the traditional Kage head gear. This modified appearance was to show is respect for the traditions and his desperate attempt to break away from them. Despite his youth he has many customs that an elder would have and stays true to them especially tea time and attire. His usually wears his hair in a ruffled yet orderly manner with decorative iron braces hanging from the braided strands. His eyes when in the form of a sharingan are noted to be darker than usual. A genetic flaw that among other things that have made him an outcast and unique.
Personality: Usually very lazy and lax Qilin would sleep all day if he had a choice. His position and status in the village he claims his by name only and really would prefer to do nothing at all. Despite his attitude, in combat he is vicious and his personality does a complete 360. He is a philosophical young man and sometimes even poetic, in that he sees war as a form of art and grace and the battlefield as it's canvass and the blood of his enemies as his paint. He excels in the art of Ninjutsu based upon the belief that only the strong should survive. He has mysterious tendencies and his clans natural morbid qualities only add to that attribute.
Though analytically he is quite ruthless to his enemies he is methodical in his methods and just as cold and calculating when dispatching his enemies. he is a perfectionist in the highest form. He hates all weakness in all people especially in himself. The belief that one can allow himself to be defeated by one with less training or inferior intellect is beyond him. However, in most instances he rather sleep than worry about such things.Although he appears to be aloof and unemotional he has a detached sense of patriotism. He respects others with skills equal to his though he will not admit it outright of course. He takes his training very seriously, and deals brutally with those who dare interrupt him. Occasionally, he likes to test himself against worthy rivals and hardly ever shows his true strength unless absolutely necessary.Most of the time Qilin abides by his code of the Shinobi "His ninja way". He fights to improve his skills, defeat powerful foes, or on rare occasion to gauge the other's abilities. When he became Kage his personality changed.
He is a highly skilled and dedicated martial artist. He uses his position and power to suppress other Shinobi Villages he does not ally himself with. He is feared and viewed as a tyrant by some as a result. He will do whatever is necessary to that end, he frequently fights and kills bulls in his training so his technique will not weaken when the time comes to kill. He also annihilates any group that threatens his control or the order of the Village and frequently using dirty tactics to do so. This may be cause by his motive to prevent Shinobi who do no have molded potential yet from fearing the more skilled who do. He also seems to still have some Patriotism toward Konoha as a village, despite their current disagreements.
Although he killed his best friend and believed he did the same with his teammates, Qilin did so in combat, and thus can be said to have not transgressed on his principles. He fights only those that he deems worthy, or the ones he believes have the potential to become the best. Although Qilin usually prefers an even bout, it is not uncommon for him to deliver a lethal sneak attack at an unprepared opponent. Although he has honor in his shinobi way he is still a Shinobi and assassin non-the-less. Since he is very powerful and strong-willed as well as hard-working and dedicated in body and spirit to martial arts life. His uncommon demeanor makes him menacing, hideous and downright unfriendly at first glance. This persona is greatly boosted by the elevated levels of rage and power unleashed during combats even to the extent of being nearly lethal, should Qilin see himself pinned or threatened with defeat. Qilin actually learns from his own mistakes and improves for the better and sees every challenge as a learning experience for himself.
Story:Amatsu Qilin was first found as a baby along the river of the great Fire country by an old fisherman and his wife. The old couple had only one son who died as a soldier before he even came into manhood. The couple saw the child as a blessing and thus named him Qilin after their son. As a child they were further convinced that he was a gift from kami in that he never grew sick or feverish, not so much as a cold. Though as time grew by the couple started to believe quite the opposite. He began to grow more violent and destructive, he would set things on fire for fun and have uncontrollable rages thus he was tricked into thinking he was going with his adopted father on a fishing trip along a new route and was abandoned yet again.
Alone and left for dead he savaged what he could within the woods and rivers before fate took him. While walking along his normal hunting route he was caught in the middle of a skirmish between two opposing squads of shinobi. He was struck fatally by kunai that should have killed him instantly but he managed to survive. In a fit of rage and desperation he called fourth a sweeping flame that killed all the opposing shinobi. He was then taken to the Leaf village for treatment.
When in the academy Qilin had a natural talent for Shunshin jutsu and Shinobi tactics and excelled in those areas strongly. Because of his quick wit and intelligence he quickly ascended to the top of his class. His ability to perform C-class jutsu at an academy level propelled him to one of the academies most renown students as well as his rare clan bloodline. He eventually graduated the academy early and was charged as a genin. He was just as determined to aspire to the same success and to quickly become a chunnin. Through the academy he grew his hair longer and developed the fundamental skills required to become a solid shinobi. He also worked on increasing his chakra in order to fuel some of the more demanding ninjutsu he heard rumors of, and so desired to learn. He absorbed as much knowledge as he could from both the academy and anyone willing to teach, and turned himself into a living sponge in order to become powerful.
As a new gennin Qilin awaited to enter the ninja world and to be assigned a sensei and team to mold and develop his talent. It was then he was placed under the tutelage of the Hokage himself. While under the Hokages tutelage he had increased his ability ten fold and also improved on a variety of techniques. He also had been honing his ability as a Taijutsu specialist and was known to have talent before his time. His ability with Jinton and Assassination quickly earned him a name for himself and he was propelled to chuunin very quickly.
At the age of 12 he was promoted to join the ANBU as the lead assassin. He was charged with assassinating a Hoshi nin but instead decided to assist another team which held a love interest and left a subordinate of the same clan in his stead. Hearing the assassination in Hoshi had failed and the person responsible was claiming to be from Konoha, Qilin had to dig for more information. It was through the proper channels that he heard that one of the shinobi had actually identified his subordinate and his clans signature jutsu.
He knew it was only a matter of time before the villages would ban together and attempt to destroy him. he was powerful indeed but unified they would be too much for him and the hunter would become the hunted. He quickly left a clone behind and would slip out of the village unnoticed. he had to go back to his roots of striking in the shadows in order to drive a stake of hatred between villages once more. He could not do so from lavish surroundings. Thus he began taking out those who knew of the assassination even his own team. Thus he fled to start his own lands...one more grounded.

Morals:Qilin holds the traditional sense of honor in regards to children and worthy opponents. Though the buck usually stops there. He will quickly kill an unarmed man, strike/Kill a woman, stab someone in the back etc. He enjoys fighting worthy opponents but rather get a dull fight over with quickly so he can sleep.
Values: He values sleep and doing absolutely nothing...the worst thing you can do is wake him up. He also cherishes Kinship and brotherhood. Being an outcast among the Uchiha because of his physical features he craves the need to belong.
Boundaries: He will not attack non shinobi children nor will he kill a man in a natural sleep. He frowns on killing weaker opponents but will do it if they are an unavoidable obstacle or a necessary evil.

Roleplay Sample (Optional for genin):Qilin sat staring at nothing particular, his facial features set in stone with it’s usual stoic dameanor. The boy next to him forced out a smile and almost got the courage to muster out a few words before Qilins head snapped toward him, those lifeless eyes at that point held a infinite amount of hatred that hit the young boy to his core. The boy was so terrified that he couldn’t move and those few seconds seemed like forever before the Amatsu turned around slowly to look back into the endless sand that plagued the wind country.
As he looked on into the dessert, a glint of light caught his attention. At first he had dismissed it to the mirage effect that can sometimes trick the eyes but after he ran it over in his head once more his voice was merely more than a whisper yet resonated throughout the wagon due to it’s depth. Stop the wagon……..now…… he stated rather firmly. He couldn’t be sure but he was almost positive that the light he saw was a signal to others that they were approaching. Qilin was sure an ambush was waiting on them and as the old man screeched the wagon to a sudden halt shifting the people and inventory inside. He looked to that same spot and that flash glimmered twice more in succession this time.
Strong fingers lead his hand to the hilt of his katana as the inevitable was about to occur and before long he could hear the pounding foot steps of a dozen or so men before they were drowned out by war cries. The dessert raiders were no match for shinobi of any skill level however they tend to over run the occasional unprepared ninja with shear overwhelming numbers. He refused to let that be him. He gazed out to see that they were armed with simple martial weapons and all on foot which were good. He hardly needed the trouble of Calvary. The old man would ask in a panic filled voice “Whats going on here?” JQilin simply gazed at him with the same lifeless expression that always dawned his face and said in a very low, barely audible tone “Get down….and stay down….or die, I care not” . The civilians did as they were told and gathered together in the corner of the wagon with their heads down.
They looked horrified yet he had no time to take in the moment as he quickly stepped out of the wagon to locate the positions of his enemies. They had maybe fourteen men cutting off the route in front and behind them letting him know that this ambush was preplanned. “Someone knew that we were coming” He said to himself calmly as he took up the rear and hoped that his partner remembered his teachings and would take the front. Their was no terrain to hide under so guerrilla tactics were not gonna be plausible. This would have to be a head on attack, something that wasn’t really in the shinobi rule book yet there were no other options at the moment. As the enemy began to close in. Now it ws about staying alive and keeping the wagons contents protected. Something told him that this mission was not going to go smoothly.[/b])
