Name: Torin "The Wolf" Takawa

Appearance: Torin is 6'2", making him very tall. He weighs in at about 200 lbs., but it is 200 lbs. of muscle, not fat. He has a brown goatee that he keeps trimmed. His hair is dark brown and is kept to a maximum of forehead length at all times. He has dark bluish-green eyes that look blue at a distance, but can definitely be seen as mixed up close. He likes to wear black sweatpants and a crimson red muscle shirt, and will sometimes be seen with an orange and red shinobi coat. On his right arm he has a seal that looks suspiciously like a Curse Seal, but Torin does not talk about it often and draws away from anyone that mentions it. Torin also has a scar running from his left cheekbone almost down to his mouth. No one knows how he got the scar, and know one really cares to know. All they know is not to ask about it or stare at it too long, or they probably would get punched in the mouth.
Personality: Torin has high self-confidence, always thinking that he is the best or that he can do better than what he is capable now. He is mostly thoughtful and calculating, but he has a humorous side to him that is shown around his friends. He try's to keep most emotions from strangers, not being very trusting because when he was a little kid, some people tried to harm him as he was coming back from the Academy. When they grabbed him, he struggled for a little, trying to use his training, but the men were a lot stronger than him. As a last resort, Torin activated the seal that his father placed on him when he was a baby. He automatically grew fangs and claws, and went into a blood frenzy, killing the men with his bare hands. After he was done, he ran into the mountains, his blood lust driving him to look for blood. Finding none, he attacked everything in sight, destroying everything in a 15 meter radius. Eventually, his chakra ran out and he reverted back to his normal form, and was knocked unconscious. He awoke, frightened, and ran home. No one ever found out that he had killed those men. Later, Torin decided that the reason he had not been able to escape so quickly was due to his fear. He decided to eradicate it, not allowing fear to control him or even be there.
Story: Origin ArcSince he was very young, his father taught him to be generous and kind. Torin would always help people, whether they be old folks trying to cross a street, or helping someone find there lost kitten. His father instilled within him these values so as to make him understand the importance of kindness. His mother had left when he was very young, making Torin wonder whether or not she actually loved him. This caused a deep seeded fear that she didn't love him, and that she had run away just because of Torin. Despite this, he was able to live a full childhood, friends but minus the annoyance of sibling's. He has always been an only child, which meant that his father tried to give him extra things whenever he could. Torin loved his father very much. Even though his father wanted Torin to stay with him, Torin wanted to become a shinobi so that he could feel like he was making a difference. This caused a tremendous fight between Torin and his father, who did not want to see Torin get hurt. It was so bad, that Torin ran away from home, running off just past the gate where he sat down and cried. Torin stayed there, not quite sure what to do, until his father came and sat down next to him. They both realized that they were the only person that the other one had in the entire world, and they both made up. Torin's father also realized that his son would not be a kid forever, no matter how much he wanted him to be. So, when Torin was the proper age, he was enrolled in the Shinobi Academy.
Academy ArcAfter he joined the Academy, he found that he was very good at everything, but that he excelled in Ninjutsu. This was probably due to his high chakra pool, which astounded his teachers. They had never seen a kid like Torin, who had a chakra pool that was equivalent to a high class Genin, or even a Chuunin. They never suspected that Torin also had another means of increasing his chakra pool immensely. This is through the Curse Seal put on his arm when he was a baby. Torin never knew what it did, but he would eventually find out. After his incident with the men in the alley, Torin withdrew within himself, showing almost no emotion, excepting for when he was with his father. This caused a lot of people concern, including his teachers, who would often try and coax some sort of emotion out of him. They never were able to do it, so they finally gave up, instead allowing him to be himself, which meant being a top student in the classroom. But his "happy" life would come crashing to a halt. One day, when Torin was at the Academy, his house burned down mysteriously, while his father was still inside of it. When Torin had learned that there had been a fire at his house, he rushed from the Academy to his house. It was charred, looking as though someone had taken a wrecking ball to it and had demolished it, then had taken black paint and painted over it. Torin rushed inside, calling for his father, looking for him. Finally, Torin found something in the charred living room. A watch that his father carried was found lying on the floor, the face broken and the gold finish tarnished with ash. Torin finally broke down, crying until he could cry no more, and then he cried some more, until the neighbors finally came and forcefully took him out of the house. They never could find the body of Torin's father.This was the last time that Torin ever did something like that. After the incident, he promised to show no sign of weakness, especially fear. He threw himself fully into the Academy, and graduated that year at the top of his class, becoming a Genin of Iwagakure. Since then, he has lived by himself in Iwagakure. He has no more family left. He hopes to become a part of the ANBU task force, and also to learn more about his Curse Seal and possibly control it.

Family/Siblings: He is not sure of the whereabouts of his mother, not even knowing if she is still alive. Also, since they could never find the body, Torin strongly suspects his father is still alive.
Morals: He believes that friends are also needed to be successful. Torin would do anything to help his friends, as he expects the same from them. He believes in following orders, but sometimes his conscious will get in the way.
Values: He values strength and showing no fear. He values protecting people from harm, but sometimes he is not strong enough by himself to do this.
Boundaries: Torin would do almost anything for the sake of his village or his friends, but he draws the line at murdering innocent people. He knows that if he were to try and join the ANBU, they may ask him to do this, but he hopes it may not come to that, for if it did, he is not sure how he would act.
Motto: "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
Likes: Pizza, girls, keeping fit, and his friends.
