First Character Creation Ever

I went with an Uchiha as my first ever character, I felt it would be a bit easier to create.

Appearance:
     Yumiko is a somewhat normal size for someone of his age, he stands at 5'4' and 119lbs and is in peak physical shape due to his hobbies of training and archery. His normal attire is black shorts and shinobi sandals. His upper body is usually covered in a purple t-shirt or long sleeve shirt with a hood, and with a black vest over that. The only time you will ever see his hood on, is when he is on a mission. On the brim of the hood is were the Suna symbol is stitched on. His face has a very soft, but sharp look to it.
     His eyes are your average Uchiha eyes, black. Almost as if it is just a pupil. His hair is quite long, in the front it goes just past his chin, hanging down the sides of his face. In the back, his hair is neatly combed into a pony tail. When the sand gets out of control, Yumiko will wear black glasses and a face wrap. Yumiko's skin is a pale tone, but it has a rather attractive glow to it. On his back, Yumiko wears a bow and quiver. His bow is average looking, nothing special to regular people. It is made out of oak and has a rustic look to it. The quiver and arrows are made of the same form of oak.


Personality:
   Calm, kindhearted, confident and evaluating are a few words that could describe Yumiko. For his age and rank, Yumiko is a very smart child. He will always attempt to think through any situation, and find the best course of action. If possible, he will always attempt to spare every life. His kindhearted nature gets him deeper into trouble than he would like, as he tries to save a life whenever possible. The calmness about him breeds confidence in his comrades, and also gives an inexperience enemy a feeling of panic.
   Yumiko is definitely a people person. He loves surrounding himself with family. To Yumiko, the people that matter most to him, his grandmother and comrades; they are his family. He can easily make friends due to his calm and kindhearted disposition. People seem to be naturally attracted to him. He is also very good at judging someone's character due to his evaluating nature. Yumiko feels a personal obligation to himself and his family that he must train and grow as a ninja. He will always go out of his way to help someone in need. The only person in the world that he is judgmental of, is himself. When he feels as if he has failed, he will punish himself with more training.

Story:
   
    Although he was born in Sunagakure, Yumiko's bloodline is from the Uchiha clan of Konoha. Yumiko's mother and father fled to Sunagakure to give birth to Yumiko when tensions between the Uchiha and Konoha were getting out of hand. They had feared for they're child's life, so they entrusted the boy to his grandmother's care. Yumiko has been told very little of his parents, as they never returned to see him. Growing up, Yumiko was taken care of and his grandmother hired the finest Shinobi in Sunagakure to train young Yumiko. He was trained as an archer, most of his skills play off of his abilities with a bow and arrow.
   
  His love for the bow and arrow is due to the stories his grandmother would tell him when he was younger. Stories of his grandfather's hunts and heroics in previous wars. His grandmother is a huge part of his life, and it shows in his actions, and his ninja ways. His grandmother told him tales of heroes giving they're lives for the village and they're comrades. She told him," A hero is someone who would gladly give his life for those he holds dear to him, those he can call family."  His time in the academy was brief, and needless to say he excelled over all of his classmates, but he never used that to make himself feel as if he was better than anyone.
   
  He looked at it as if he owed it to them to help make them stronger as well. He would help his classmates learn new things and train with them to help better them. His abilities as a ninja mixed with his ability to connect with people, helped him to make friends with every person in his class.

Yes, there may be heartache and pain in a life such as this, but its worth it. The people you meet and reach out too help shape your life, and you help shape they're life as well.
