Age: 23
Village: Amegakure
Rank: Spec Jounin

Yoshito Yuki [Spec Jounin | Amegakure] 24lnfa10
Appearance:
Yoshito does almost prides himself on his hands being fast and precise. Otherwise he is probably as fit as most shinobi would be with his basic training with a little more meditation than most. He has soft almost silky ebony hair that’s just shy of touching his shoulders. He rarely grooms it and looks more like he just woke up, shook the tangles out, ran his fingers through, and headed out to greet the world. Even with that a few pieces always seem to hang in his face, but not of such quantity that it hinders his field of sight. Piercing natural crimson eyes like he‘s always trying to see the worth or beneath the surface of those he comes into contact with.

He also has perfect use of both his eyes. As for attire, it isn't anything special. He wears the Ame headband tied around his head with the protective resting on his forehead. A tight form fitting shirt covers his upper body with the color and style changing depending on his preference. Mostly though he goes with a sleeveless one to give his arms freedom and make sure it doesn’t obstruct his use or movements with his weapons. The bottom of his shirt is always tucked down into his pants which is mostly normal with a slight bagginess to them.

It holds six pockets with the four traditional ones; two at the side and two at the back. The other two on the leg of the pants around the thigh area. The bottom of his pants is tapped down to keep it in place which is hidden by the everyday saddles most shinobi wear. His utility pouch is placed on the back of his pants heavily flavoring his right side. His wrist are usually covered by black tap which goes well with the gloves he wears. The finger part of the gloves were cut just below the knuckle area to allow his digits to breath while the rest of the glove helps to make sure sweat doesn’t erupt his weapon usage.

Small metal plates with the Ame symbol are attached to the back of the gloves. Sometimes he may wear a long coat over it all.

Yoshito Yuki [Spec Jounin | Amegakure] 2hokxm10
Personality:
"Look beyond the mistakes"

Yoshi seems to possess traits from both his parents and can almost pick them out to the letter. Actually anyone who knows the family could very much do the same. His kind caring heart comes directly from his father. His need for freedom, outspoken nature, and wild side from his mother. His playful side also seems to come from her. He holds a sense of justice, a need to help those in trouble, right the wrongs he comes across, and protect those who can‘t do for themselves seems to come from them both.

Yoshi loves hanging out with his friends and goofing off whenever he can get the chance. Even roughhousing a bit which he knows he got from his mother. He considers himself smart, but surely wouldn't call himself a tactician. Instead of hiding in the shadows to see what his opponent is capable of, he rather go at him right out and find out first hand. His intellect does show in his creativity on the battlefield. He’s the type to sacrifice himself and take the blunt of the attack while others think of ways around things. He is a ninja and does understand the need for stealth and observation but it just isn‘t something he’ll use often.

He would much rather go at things by himself most of the time. Not because he doesn‘t like people, but he could not bare it if someone got hurt because of him. He also understands the importance of teamwork and following orders. At the same time he‘s known for adjusting them for the situation and doing what the moment calls for. With the recent events, he has a strong desire to prove his strength which can often cause him to overdo things.

When he is alone he could always be found on the roof of his home or of the tallest structure nearby. Yoshi has enjoyed looking off into the distance or even up at the sky since he came to Ame. It’s those times he allows himself to explore the places he can‘t while confined within the village. If not that then he picks those spots to meditate even if they seem to be the same. He holds no illusion of being the best or becoming perfect, he just knows what he can do and pushes himself to that image of self worth and approval.

Story:
"They say that the eyes are the windows to one's soul. Tell me... what do you see through these eyes of mine?"

Twenty-three years ago a woman named Arakawa Mariko, an A rank missing ninja from Taki no Kuni, gave birth to her first son. Her husband and his father, Yuki Naoki, had fainted at some point during the procedure. He claims at the end while Mariko indicates somewhere during the first push. Nonetheless, Yuki Yoshi was born in a small village in Hi no Kuni. Where he was conceived is a event he never wishes to know about. The time it took his mother to heal after the pregnancy was the longest the three of them had stayed put. They were always shifting from one town to another, from one forest to the next.
It had become the only life that Yoshi knew and enjoyed. The freedom and mysteries that awaited him were endless. Though even still they had never been in real danger. They encountered bandits, vicious animals, other ninja, and even hunters though his mother always managed to protect them. Those odds seemed to increase after a while since his father had become good at sensing danger and even better at running. It was also during these years that his mother began teaching him the ins and outs of being a ninja.

Showing him some of the basics and even punishing him with those same drills, Yoshi was surely a troublemaker. One would think there couldn’t be much trouble when the three of them were always alone, but that was the problem. He loved his family but enjoyed exploring even during their downtime. His reasons always varied to him. Sometimes out of simple and pure curiosities. Others came from his imagination or some personal adventure he was playing out in his head. Then there were hopes of finding something entertaining or someone to talk to.

Whether he liked the wilderness or towns more was a hard one to decide. Villages had other kids for him to play with and even things for him to buy. Wilderness gave him that sense of freedom he loved so much, that peace that came from being out in nature, new mysteries to discover. Luckily he never had to pick or at least he wouldn’t have the option of choosing. Somewhere within his eighth year, his parents broke the news that they were moving to a city to stay. He wasn’t that much against it since he thought it would be the same as always.

This time was different though. His mother had taken a job to work for an official within Amegakure under the guise as the house keeper and his father would be the chief. Only one of them was required to follow the description and basics of their title. Yoshi had only guessed what his mother’s real job was. He was sure it was either a rival silencer or bodyguard, he figured a combination of both. At least the official was someone he remembered meeting during their travels.

His mother had accidentally saved the man‘s son, thanks to Yoshi stumbling upon where the kidnappers were holding him. Now they had went from living and fending for themselves to staying in mild luxury, but the young boy still missed the wilderness lifestyle. His new home had its perks and they were lucky that they weren‘t treated like the help, almost like they were part of the family. It didn‘t make him any happier being there. To add onto that, he was placed into Ame‘s ninja academy. It became all too clear that the way of living he knew and grew up on was gone.

His parents had made it clear that the Yuki family would become residences of the village. This didn‘t at all sit well with Yoshi and he did his best to rebel during his first few years in the academy. Sleeping, skipping classes, fights, and even trying to get bad grades on purpose. These never went so well since someone always woke him up and even made him stand the rest of the class. He was always discovered less then fifteen minutes after deciding to skip class, he could swear his mother had someone tailing him. The fights seemed to always been forgiven since Yoshi never started them and turns out was only helping other kids being bullied.

The bad grades only caused his mother to show up and watch him take it over again. To his regret he managed to graduate from the academy and become genin of his village. After that he merely coasted by with no real desire to advance in rank though always being there for his team when they needed it. Training was something he was forced into, well until recently. That day it seemed he was on the topic of everyone close to him or it was possibly just a bad day for him. He had overheard his genin team talking about him to their sensei, talking about how his lack of motivation and interest was making it difficult for them.

He had thought to talk it over with his friends, but they seemed to be holding the same conversation and it still didn’t favor him. To make it worst, Yoshi overheard his mother and father talking about him and it seemed to be on the same topic. His mother even going so far to say she was a bit disappointed in the fact he was still a genin and an average one at that. Even though Yoshi had been sticking most of his training, granted it was still a form of punishment from his mother and even his jounin sensei now. From them on he had began to take training and his position in the village more seriously. He still wanted the freedom he had from his youth, but the thought of being a burden to his friends and family was something he couldn‘t bare.

Alas the time flew by and by the age of seventeen, the boy became an official chuunin of the village. His mother was more excited than he was because it was all business for him, everyone in the village taught him that. Ranking up was no big feat in his mind, doing so from sheer mission count was nothing too special for him but the fact he ranked up to chuunin was the world for his mother and his squad mates, of which he cut off as soon as he ranked up. Knowing they were talking of him behind his back in ill-manner disgusted him so he never wanted to speak to them again, letting them know verbally at his ceremony. When he left he was confronted by his sensei. The two conversed about power and the way it may corrupt those without anyone to teach them otherwise. That's where his friends came in the lesson. Yoshi didn't listen to his sensei, instead he befriended the man instead of his old squad mates.

Age twenty-three, the boy's rise to spec jounin comes. Odd situation it was too. Yoshi was called into the Amekage's office where his sensei was, unbeknownst to Yoshi there had been a mission selected for the two. The mission required the two shinobi to infiltrate a village and gain knowledge on their ryo gains, it required two spec jounin or higher shinobi to do this mission. This is how Yoshi was approved for his rank up by lady Amekage Mona.

Conversation:
"Hey sensei."
"Hey Yoshi..."
"Yoshito Yuki, you're selected to complete a very dangerous mission... one that will require you to be very discreet and selective with your motions. Do you accept?"
"Of course Lady Amekage. What is it you ask of me?"
"First, you will need to be of higher rank. You are now Special Jounin, by the power of the Amekage let it be."
"Lady Amekage, thank you."
"Yes Yoshi, we are required to enter Konoha and steal info about how they get their money. Not hard, but I'll help you with the espionage. Deal?"
"Of course sensei, let's get started!"
"So eager, I'll be at the training area later."
"You are dismissed, Yoshi. Thank you."
"No problem!"

Teeming with excitement, the young man went straight to the training grounds and started working for the mission. They were scheduled to leave in the morning. Sensei entered the area and they started together, training together, their synergy, they were getting prepared but little did Yoshi know, his sensei's death was planned with this mission.

The sun awoke the same time Yoshi did, five in the morning is when the two left for the mission. Upon entering the forests of the village hidden in the leaves, the two were ambushed and captured quickly. It seems that sensei didn't teach Yoshi enough, he doesn't remember what happened or how he got back home, but sensei was never heard of again. Yoshi came to the conclusion he had died in the forest when they got caught. All he remembers is a flash of light, probably from a flashbang or a trap already set. Coming back to Lady Amekage with a failure report was big, nothing short of a huge disappointment for Yoshito. Lady Mona let it slide with a pay cut, although the sensei would be investigated some time without Yoshito.

A couple months have passed now and Yoshi is over the death of his sensei, he coped with it by self-reflecting in the forests of Ame by himself often times one would catch him making friends with animals in the forest, feeding them and what not. He turned to a generous person while dealing with the death, but he's fine now personality-wise. The death did have an impact on him though, now he'd rather do things on his own or else he's extremely protective of whoever he's with regardless of their skill as a shinobi.

Roleplay Sample (Optional for genin):
Last time we left our heroes of the Sound, we found that Isamu could read minds due to a flaw that happened when he was transferred the Hyuuga bloodline! Yori had found the sense of fighting and the ability to do so as well as finding that he needed to do anything to complete the mission! Even if it involves killing someone for something as simple as a C-Rank mission. The Kanaduchi of the group, the one that was not very charismatic, had captured the two that were killed in a very fashionable way by the young Kaguya and Isamu. The middle one had disappeared though! If they lose the money they fail the mission! What will happen? Stay tuned, after this commercial break! ...

Commercial Break!! (Click)

Back, from these messages!

--Anyhow--

Yori, after finishing the one to the right to the middle one, went to the 'leader'. He would then learn that being too ambitious without a plan would be almost fatal as the leader seemed to have much more ninja ability than he thought. The leader turned faster than he could jump in the air to attack him and thrusted his palm in the young Kaguya's chest, knocking the breath out of him. He even moved faster than his bones could grow as he tried to make his hand form incisions from his bones, but he was too quick. Ow, he hits hard. Yori held his chest and let out a deep breath as if to catch his breath. "Are you okay Yori!?" Isamu would yell as he tried to go forward to help his comrade, but also trying to get the Tenketsu of the man. The man did the same to Isamu but he wasn't as affected by it, being a Hyuuga he was used to this sort of training. The man jumped back to avoid a palm thrust of Isamu's but one that would block his tenketsu, his chakra flow. "Damn, missed." Yori said with a huff and a puff, showing his still catching the breath knocked out of him. The man raised his arm high up above and mist formed again. Io, now catching up with the two, saw the mist and figured Yori would do what he did before but was wrong. The three stumbled out of the mist only to find the man disappeared.

"Did, did we lose him? Fuck." Yori spoke without thinking. Isamu's eyes turned to a bright blue color and looked straight ahead. "No, we didn't lose him, follow me he's up ahead." He spoke as if he was the leader of the three and they took it that way when they followed the young Hyuuga. He was much faster than the two, especially Io, but they kept pace all the same knowing that they could not fail this mission... for their lives depended on it.

FLASHBACK

"If you fail this mission, you're asses are mine." Shinji spoke to the three as if they owned him, but when their in his village they sort of do. Especially with the kind of power he has, Yori has never seen such power, but there were rumors going around the village and, quite frankly, around the entire Shinobi World! "Yes, sir!" The three said in unison. Shinji flickered out of the place they were meeting in and they did the same. The three were running along to where Shinji specified the place the man was caught going to. "So... what do you think? You think it's just some old man?" Yori spoke, hoping to start up a conversation. Isamu jumped to the Kaguya and gave him a noogie. "Of course not, an old man couldn't break into a bank all by himself. If it is an old man, he was accompanied, I'm sure of it." he spoke with knowledge, so much knowledge it was like he was there. Anyway, Io said nothing but gave a quiet nod and a "Hm..." Io freaked Isamu and Yori out, he always tried to bring out the talkative side of him though. "So what do you think Io?" Yori spoke to break the tension. "I think, if we don't catch whoever it is we'll get our asses handed to us, by Shinji no less. The God of the Uchiha." Io spoke not with knowledge, but wisdom... and Yori was caught in the middle. Like Isamu, his Yin and Io, his Yang.

"We'll catch up with you Yori, we are gonna go survey the citizens and see if they know anything, you stay watch." Isamu spoke, because Io wouldn't say anything on his own. "Alright Isamu, you're the boss." He chucked slightly, knowing this was true but he didn't feel like Isamu was the boss because he was younger than Yori. We'll be equal someday. That day isn't today though. He kicked rocks as he awaited for a sign of an intruder, any sign... anything. Anything of human contact. But in fact, one that was in-human came. "Oh, hey Ichizou." Yori spoke to his right with a full mouth, "You want some?" Yori held up his lunch to the ghost in his mind. "Na, I'm good. Why aren't you watching for him?" Ichizou sounded cautious, maybe the part of his mind telling him he needs to get cracking on this mission... "Heh, he'll show up. I got a feeling." Yori sounded confident that his hunch was correct. "Oh yea? Well, I have news for you, hunches don't complete missions, constant awareness is what completes missions. Get off your ass and watch for him." Ichizou was being really rude toward his host. This bitch. "I heard that!" He was offended from the silent insult. "Okay okay, I'll watch for him. Just get lost." Yori took out his medicine and took a pill or two to take away this vision. God, he's so annoying some times.
