LR bonus

Are the members who were from LR but already made a character before Nike made the move to TN bonus able to collect said bonus?

I don't know, do we think they should? I mean, on one hand to do so would be unfair to those who didn't move until the closing down since they stuck it out for as long as possible, on the other hand to do otherwise would be unfair to those who moved here from LR because they thought that it was an intriguing site.

I'm not sure on where I stand in this matter.

What I am sure about is that it would be unfair to not give "the cake" to those who still had characters and RPed over on LR while also having a character here. On this matter I think they should be able to partake in the same bonuses.

I was here while I was on LR; I never 'left' per se. I think this is the case with many people here, and thus I think those in that situation should be able to claim it. We never abandoned ship, even though we all knew it was going to die. Butheysoarewe

Eh, imo if you haven't claimed the month starting bonus then you could, just to even things out and what not. Or just extend the month thing to 2 months and not limit the bonus to only lr people. You feel me?

Many people from LR came here of there own free will, which I throughly love and am happy to oblige. I am uncertain if I find it in good spirit to then turn around and ask for the bonuses. They came here knowing there were no bonuses, and while they are always nice, didn't expect any from moving from LR.

ON the other side, people who stuck out LR, and role-played there (up until the end, which is important, as many people just "joined" LR and may have left weeks, months, years ago, or continually lurked the box.) Should get the bonus, because they while maybe though LR was dying, didn't know it was going to move.

Finally, I have to ask myself this too, I was an admin on LR, and the owner here. Should I get a bonus? Should I get referral bonuses for moving everyone/being the driving force of moving people here from LR? Should I get the bonus even though I didn't rp for weeks... should other's get it?

I have to solutions, and let me see what people think of them

Solution 1.

Those who have rp'd since the site opening on LR can claim the LR bonus. (Feburary 10th till now)

Solution 2.

We give it to everyone on both sites (Since a large portion are from LR, it would be unfair to give a large percentage of the population a bonus simply because they joined LR back in September, May, or even the previous 2012/2013 year

Granted since I admin'ed there and rped there until The End I personally think everyone should get it. Shouldn't penalize people who jumped off a sinking ship.

Why not just extend the new member bonus?

I propose give it to anyone who has rp'ed on LR since December; anyone else hasn't really done anything for awhile, and is not affected by the move.

The new member bonus ends the 10th of March... so... extending after 17 days... really isn't... ermm...cross that bridge when we come to it... totally lost my train of thought

Lel, I rp'ed up until February. I just mean to make it fair for everyone who rp'ed in recent months. Maybe just 2014 then.

Maybe just allow it for anyone who has been on LR? Some of us did rp there for months before leaving. What you suggest rewards people who have been there for a lesser span of time just because they didn't jump off LR. Also, LR has had multiple revamps. >.>

Nah. Seemingly too much to go through. LR gets the bonus because LR moved here, sorta.

If they are going to go through and make sure that people from a specific date actually have the links to their proof, then sure, I don't mind only the recent LR members getting the bonus.

Rewards to the left, rewards to the right. Do we really need to be giving out so many rewards?

I like the opening month bonus which is fair and open to everyone. A second one that's just exclusive to former LR people seems a bit well too insular if you ask me. If we're to grow we shouldn't exclude new people from this sort of stuff since it generates an imbalance and divides people between the haves and the have nots.

We already have that original member thingy circulating don't we? Do we need maor on top of that?

I think that everyone should get a bonus except Mack.
