Wondering in the Mist (Open)

It had only been a few days since Kai became a full fledged ninja, he had been cooped up at the family home ever since, partly to blame was a storm that had been lingering around causing slight havoc. Thankfully it had past and without much damage to the village. The ninja got dressed putting on his long sleeved white shirt and his jeans pants, decorating his ears with his golden earrings. Lonely and bored, Kai decided to go out for a stroll.

The young ninja decided to go into the forest just to see if he could find anything interesting, perhaps a rabbit that he could catch, kill and eat. "Mmmmmmm curried rabbit wouldn't be so bad afterall", it had a long while since he had tasted such a delicacy. However, there were no rabbits in sight, just a dove and her two young ones flying from limb to limb, the chicks clearly not used to flying as yet as they can't keep their flight for any extended period of time. He closes his eyes and hangs down his head smiling, "Mother nature is a strange thing, imagine, looking at them now you'd think they'd die before sunset but in a few days time those chicks will be flying as if it were no problem owning the skies for themselves".

The mist had just started to appear, the usual, and it came with a slight chill, tho he couldn't feel it as his naturally high body temperature shielded him from cold weather. Kai reached into his pocket and took out a small metallic box, opening it he took out what appeared to be a joint, slowly putting it in his mouth he then took from the same box a lighter, lighting the joint he took two puffs, by now anyone in the vicinity of the scent would realize that there was Mary jane being burnt somewhere close. Inhaling the smoke then slowly letting it all out, raising his head, he leans back on the tree right beside him, relaxed himself, clearly at peace.

Lei Fang slowly moved through the forest as he headed for the village that he called home, his eyes softly flickered under the sun rays as it caught his eyes perfectly as he moved with such grace. Today seemed like a bust for hunting as all of his game had seemed smile and the only good thing that had come of hunting was two stand alone rabbits that had been speared in the head by some stones that he had picked up while out hunting. He was just about a mile outside of the village when the lingering scent of Mary Jane hit his nose.

"Well it looks like someone has found something to do, to kill boredom."

Fang couldn't blame them, with the storm that kept everyone locked away in door just passing this seemed like a good of enough time compared to any to find something relaxing to do. He'd allow his nose to lead the way as the fog got thicker and thicker as he made his approach. He couldn't believe how quick the mist had crept up on him, by then again this was the land of mist so random fogs like this one was quite common and didn't effect most people that lived in the village.

"Well, well, well."

He whispered as he approached a figure that was pressed against the base of a tree that wasn't too far from his marker trees that guided him home. He slowly moved a little closer as he spoke in a softly tone.

"That is an amazing blend you have their, care to match with some Cali."

He slowly pulled out a pop that he had been saving for when he was ready to clean his game. The blend he had been broken down into several smaller measurement and was set too be poured and smoke at anytime that he was ready. His blend carried a bright red and purple fiber admitting to the potence of how good it was and how it carried a orangey-graph flavor like no other.

Kai sighed, looking at the sky, deep in his thought. It was only when he heard a mans voice that he broke his chain of thought. Quickly kneading chakra without even flinching he could sense the man not far from him, his had very strong chakra, perhaps of jounin level. Who was this man?, what did he want? And what were his affiliations.

As the man got closer Kai decided to turn his head in the direction that he sensed the chakra, but by the looks of it the man was not a foe but a kiri jounin. This made Kai a bit more comfortable, relaxing back once more he took another draw pulling it deep in his lungs and listening to the mans request to match some herbs, he was more than willing to. "Sure thing cuz" smiling he pulled back out his stash. Upon looking at the mans blend he could clearly see how potent it was, shit he could smell that it was could stuff too. "Damn cuz thats some real high grade there mane".

Kai showed him his stash, it was the same, smiling, he was jeering the man, probably the man thought that he was the only one who had the strain. Clearly they probably have the same dealer. Kai broke off some buds heaving it over to the man. His expression had also changed a bit, Kai isn't all that trusting he had to make sure that he was in good company. "So tell me who are you exactly and what brings you out here?"

Kai then looked at the two rabbits that the man was carrying, strange that it took him so long to notice them as he was now starving, licking his lips, the thought of currying them both running through his mind quite vividly, he then looks back up to the man for answers.
