Junpei is a young teen, that has matured physically a bit fast in the looks department. One would assume that he is fifteen or at even sixteen, but the situation gets awkward quickly when it is discovered he is fourteen. Some times he likes to play along with people, just to see how they act under the impression he is an older age. His hair is ebony kept in a braid that reaches his mid back. It comes to a pony tail at the end, but on his head it is kept fairly messy and loose. He stands straight at 5`6 inches and weighs in at 113 pounds.

His clothing consist of a typically red Shaolin Chinese garb. This is a representation of his dedication to traditional martial arts training. The sleeves are generally long, but on some occasions Junpei will dawn a sleeveless version of this garb. His lower body adorns a common white pair of kung-fu pants and then the common kung-fu shoes. His tools are normally hidden within the depths of his clothing and lead to quite the surprise. Around his waste is a black sash, that keeps his Gi, from flowing too much during movement.  

Personality:
Junpei can be personified as, competitive, open minded, supportive, and very ambitious. He is an individual who values the strength of words written in ink. But also the ones expressed through actions or in the mind. Though he isn't a fully enlightened individual or even close to it, he likes to pick at the mind of elders and enjoys hearing about life experiences. He believes in the principles of ones Third Eye and is passively trying to open his own. Due to English not being his first language and a language he hasn't fully learned, he is very quiet, but once he opens up, people find him to generally a cool person. Very cheesy and outspoken at times, unpei is almost always genuine to his feelings and rarely coats his words or holds his tongue if he knows the words to express it.

Junpei can also be classified as a pupil to all who have something to offer. Whether it be words or training, Junpei is a very mentally hungry individual. He can often be found spending his free time meditating on words and philosophies or build those of his own. He shows a great amount of respect and love to life as a whole, but sees no issue in purging one from the world. He greatly values balance and knows every action has an effect or reciprocal. With this knowledge in mind, he understands at times work must be done in the darkness and some must sacrifice for the greater good. This makes him act as a neutral entity and even sometimes he chooses to act in his favor, though it may not always benefit others. He is a clean palette almost and likes to let others express their visions through him. Being a clean slate is not to be mixed up with being a pure being, but rather a being open to be influenced.

He does have a canvas of his own however. He has yet to figure out what he is painting, but he feels he will discover one day.

All in all, Junpei is almost a completely free spirit. He has loyalty to his home, family, and village, but he doesn't let it attach him to one place. Being a seeker of knowledge, he likes to travel, and see things from a different perspective. Unless giving a reason, he is friendly to all he comes across, even to the point of showing respect to an opponent.

In battle he likes to rely on his instincts allowing more natural and unpredictable fluid movements, but also knows when thinking needs to be done. He puts his allies in high regard and at times puts his well being below theirs. Due to his families genetics, he also has the tendency to get very heated in battles, almost dawning a whole new personality which is very . . . passionate.

Story:
Junpei was born in a family that lives off the land in the forest of Kirigakure. The clan was what would modernly be known as a Native Tribe or something of the sort. That means Junpei was not raised speaking English and in fact is bilingual with English being his second language. Raised in the thin atmosphere, the tribe of natives boasted stronger bodies and bodies ideal for martial arts and that's exactly what they did. Junpei was an only child, so he was his parents focus and he was trained to become a battle hardened warrior, something to truly be proud of.

Showing exemplary promise Junpei was soon taught a secret magic that was only giving to the ones in the tribe who proved to be level headed and responsible, something Junpei gained through many sessions of meditation. This magic was known as Ninjutsu. To a typical human, that was nothing, but to the tribe, Ninjutsu was distributed to a select few to ensure its power wasn't being abused.

But the tribe soon discovered that the teachings of ninjutsu were monstrously widespread, they learned this after a visit from an Kirigakure shinobi. This mans control of the elements was so great the clan members referred to him as a God of the land. Of course the man was confused and baffled at first and found communication near impossible. Being humble beings to please this deity Junpei was offered to him. Their best tribe member at the time and soon to be an Kirigakure Genin. Not only was it because of Junpei's skill level, but also because of the "Mark of the God" he had been given. This mark is actually a Curse Seal, but in the Hikaru Tribes eyes, it was the mark only given to Kings. Something Junpei eventually would have been if he was able to stay with his family, but he wasn't.

Courageously listening to his clan elders words, he hesitated not the slightest bit in showing the Kirigakure Shinobi he would be his faithful offering. Whether that mean worshiping him, being eaten as a delightful human meal, or used as a commodity around the Gods dwelling place. Confused as hell, the man accepted Junpei and soon got him enrolled in an education system and eventually Junpei learned to thread together sentences. Junpei was still confused on the whole situation, the teaching, the other children, and how the teachings of Ninjutsu were so popular. He didn't know what to think of it all and still doesn't, but he enthusiastically remains in pursuit of knowledge and eventually understanding. His foothold in the English language is still harsh and needs work, but he can function in a modern  shinobi society.

Roleplay Sample (Optional for genin): The sands of the surrounding area shifted and tasted the crimson threads the meditating teen wore. Before the sands would settle again, this teen would exhale a breath into the harsh blazing atmosphere. As the sun would beam onto his back persistently, a single bead of sweat would trail from the edge of his hairline, to create a small moist stream of sweat over the unique marking on his neck. Taking in another breath before diving deeper into the recesses of his pink matter, his chest found its natural size with an inward breath. Back to steady his breathing went and steady the sand went, as they supervised the routine session of meditation. His hands were idle on his knees which were folded with his legs in the proper meditative stance, his eyes were of course closed. This being to focus deeper, avoid the merciless sands, and the brightness of the sun. As another breeze swept by, the sands blew and peppered the back of his neck, giving a minor sting, but it was ignored. A single ebon braid bounced against his back as he took in a final breath, before ending his spiritual training for the day. Coming to a stand his eyes slowly opened and his pupils dilated as the suns beams reflected off of the seemingly ivory sands. A single vein standing out from its brethren bulged slightly near the teens eyes and left temple, signifying the ocular irritation, but this spiritually sound being didn't mind. With his eyes eventually adjusting to the area he had become so accustomed to with it being his newest home, he began his walk to the training ground, to begin his physical routine of training. Grains of sand still plastered on the back of his moistened neck, there was no sense of urgency in his step as his hands came together in front of him, with them hidden by the sleeves of his garb. His eyes squinted in an almost mischievous smile, he turned his head at nearly every attraction that was around, familiarizing himself with the letters and pronunciations before he arrived at his destination.
