Caelus walked over from the building he had been hiding behind ever since he'd followed Tyko out from the training grounds en route to the village gates. His athletic build easily allowed him to scale up the side of the structure onto the roof for better travel. The young boy made no sound as he moved swiftly along the rooftops to what should have been Tyko's side. He had been assigned to merely be the man's backup on this mission and perhaps for good reasons unknown to him. Caelus's jacket collar covered his face up to his nose, but not covering it so he wouldn't have to worry about anything flying into his mouth. The teen had been upset with the decision to be left behind solely because the jounin wanted to scout ahead on his own. Up until now he had pursued this man with the utmost urgency except for a few...erm distractions. Caelus figured that to disobey his new mentor would not be in his best interest but it still made him just as upset as before. His footsteps stopped on a small ramen shop across the street from a small market place he frequented as a child. The genin would hop down from the building casually placing his hands over his head in an attempt to act as casual as possible so as to not arouse suspicious glares. Having heard various parts of conversations while running through he knew of the urgency to remain on his guard and alert. As well as who was the head honcho of the village that he basically didn't bother to care about. The people he observed through the corners of his eyes seemed worn and drained which he could understand. He would be too if he spent the whole time trying to survive the tedious routine of life from day to day.
As determined as Caelus was to just run to Tyko's side he wasn't sure just how much he would be on an S-ranked mission from the Tsuchikage himself. His grandfather told him to never overestimate his own potential lest he end up cut down before his shinobi career even started. It was pain to just be sitting on the sidelines when he could be out there serving his village and doing what needed to be done. However, as young as he was Caelus did not understand that by staying behind he would be doing the village a favor as well in case Tyko sent for him. "I guess jounin are so elite that they can handle these matters on their own, well he better not come back and think telling me to play the bench is going to make me feel better." Every word was spat out in an agitated tone causing him to absent-mindedly kick a cardboard box he was passing on the street while he made his way out of the area.
