Walking Sluggishly, Seigi entered the gates of his home village, Kumogakure. Having traveled from Kirigakure alone, he had avoided the main roads and people as much as possible, due to the events that had transpired. He was covered in dirt and sweat, having barely stopped since he left, wanting to get back home as soon as possible. The guards recognized Seigi immedeately, letting him pass through the gates without hassle. Smiling for the first time in a few days, it felt good to be home.
But Seigi had a bad feeling in the pit of his gut, as if an inevitable storm was coming, a storm that he wasn't sure if he could avoid. Things had gone wrong in Kirigakure, and along the road, he had heard the Mizukage had been killed. Seigi himself had nothing to do with it, but them being there in Kirigakure was no coinicidence.
But nonetheless, Seigi knew a fight was to happen, if not an all out war. Clenching his fists as he walked toward his house, he thought long and hard about what was to come and the storm of war that was upon them. With every storm, there was the thunderous, deafening sound of death and despair that came with it.
And with every bit of thunder, there was lightning to follow.
