A first encounter [Chakra training]

"This spot should do"

Pan rubbed his large hands togather and skimmed the rocky plateau he found himself on. Only 5 minutes outside the gates of Iwagakure, he would have never guessed that peace and serenity could be found this close to home. Still, there it was. Where the villages training fields were usually clogged with genin doing their usual target practice around this time of the day, he had a formidably sized patch of dirt all to himself, with nothing but the occasional boulder or rock catching his eye. In the shade of his large, straw hat, Pans face molded into a content smirk. These conditions were excellent for the first summoning.

Now, the first summoning had been something Pan looked forward to since the day be became a ninja. In fact, it is safe to say he would have never bothered travelling to Iwagakure at all if it had not been for the wandering sage who let him sign the panda contract, which would allow Pan to summon a panda mentor once the need had arose for one. Many years had past since that signing, and even more things had changed. Pan had mastered the basics of Nin and Taijutsu. Learned to control his chakra, learned how to fight, and learned how to summon. His journey towards becoming a sage was beyond the point where humans could guide him. The time had come for the panda mentor to be summoned.

After forming a few seals and biting his thumb, Pan slammed his palm onto the rocky ground, expelling a large amount of chakra and roaring a triumphant "Kuchiyose no Jutsu!". A loud "poof" sounded, and thick white smoke filled the mesa, robbing Pan and whoever would be watching from sight completely. As the fog slowly faded away, the sensei-to-be made its dramatic entrance...
