The faint smell of charcoal wafted through the crisp morning air. The sky was set in a blaze with the returning presence of the Sun, awesome hues of orange and red and pink were prevalent all over. Resting atop the multitude of colors and in-between were soft white clouds that made themselves an extra setting of the environment. The air was without wind, the trees of the forest dead silent; it felt like an eternally petrified congregation of sorts. And for one thing, the setting was not as bad as it seemed to be. Small woodland animals scurried along here and there, the birds were in flight, and the insects were in bountiful bliss.

Zancrow and his immaculately dressed twin were strolling about in the forest, having time to themselves to examine the new neighborhood where they would set harvest with their Kikaichū in plain peace. The absence of pesticides would make the experience even more heart-felt, as both of the twins sat crouched back to back, eyes all over the horizon and everywhere in between, keeping a 360 degree watch of the environment. The real Zancrow sat as perfectly still as his counterpart, which then gave rise to the prospect of a letter attained earlier. Something about meeting for a fight in a tournament, was all he could remember. So there the two sat within a large clearing, directly in the center of it all. The rest of the forest stood some five hundred meters out, any other person would easily come into view. He simply awaited, and hoped this was more important than keeping watch of the Kikaichū.

The fighting tournament was set to begin at some forest, and naturally, Arashi always being the one wanting to hone his skills, the Kirigakure ninja gratefully accepted the offer. He woke up early that day, traveling to the forest in search of his opponent, and he found it. Two twins were at a center of the clearing, and Arashi frowned. How fair was this tournament if it allowed twins? Well, Arashi figured that a real Shinobi tournament wouldn't be fair at all, so he shrugged. Nothing he could do about it.

Arashi was about twenty meters from the twin, with a rock five meters to the right of him. Arashi decided that he would start with a jutsu he usually didn't use to begin the battle. Arashi formed five handseals in the time it would take for someone to punch him, and formed a beast made of pure lightning and chakra attached to a tether that allowed Arashi to control the thing. He sent his little pet towards the twins, keeping an eye on them and making sure nothing fishy was going on.

"Tch. Here comes the supposed challenger," said the fake twin who was facing the incoming person. Zancrow himself grinned one of his famous teeth-laden grin, fang-like teeth strewn within his mouth. He looked rather tired, the incoming boy, who did not appear as the type to get up early in the morning for much. Both Zancrow and his alleged twin had arisen just as the man made it to four-hundred and fifty meters, looking at him with some form of cruel hidden intent. Zancrow gave his twin an affirming nod, who in turn began to run for the man in question who had stumbled upon them.

The real Zancrow did not advance forward, and instead awaited for a closer inspection. The man stood by some rock for whatever purpose he had, and began to form hand-seals. A strange sensation overcame the Otogakure Genin, as he felt a burning along the side of his neck. Quite decorated head to toe in the oddest of tattoos, Zancrow ran forth towards the man, quite frankly zipping past his clone. The clone itself had not reached fifteen meters, and the time it took the man to send out the strange beast made from animated lightning chakra Zancrow had already made his move. Running directly behind his clone the man would have needed to have a view from a different angle by the time his lightning animal was released from his grip.

The Aburame would soar over his clone a few moments before the clone would be hit by this strange lightning beast. Reaching speeds not quite human, he would advance into the immediate two foot vicinity of his opponent, and attempt to land a decisive kick to his trachea. Such a kick, incoming from such a speed and with such newly attained physical force would surely crush this man's neck in and silence his candle light of life. The speed of his advancing movement would be too clever and too quick to make a counter. Lifting his hand to direct the beast would only prove futile in this situation, sadly.

The kid was quick, no doubt about that. While his twin was caught by Arashi's lightning beast, which was soon revealed to be a simple clone, Arashi saw his real challenger, this time clad in very strange tattoos that Arashi currently could not wonder what was so special about them. He was in the middle of the air, quickly approaching the Kirigakure Genin. He was much faster then any normal human. For anyone not trained in Taijutsu, they'd most likely be dead. However, due to his proficiency and the distance he leaped from he was able to keep track with the tattooed Genin. But if he wanted a truly even match, Arashi would need to get on his level.

Activating the first gate, which improved his strength, speed, and reaction time by five times, Arashi quickly disabled his Lightning Beast jutsu, allowing him both free hands. When the creepy genin reached a two foot vicinity, he apparently planned on a flying kick. However, due to his previous speed boost, Arashi now had the capabilities of countering it. Once his leg was in mid motion, Arashi would attempt to catch his foot, and would then try and slam his body face first into the ground with all his force.

Then, to quickly end the ffight, Arashi would try and swiftly snap his leg while still having a grip on it.
