Tell tale signs of nervousness consist of sweaty hands and being jittery along with side effects of being on edge a little bit and very tense. Chotaro's hands were wet, trying to dry them off by sliding them against his pant legs leaving a wet spot on them. He looked up after glancing at the stains on his pants and smiled at the group of kids he was to choose from. This mission would be a simple one, take two academy students around and introduce to them the life of the Shinobi. Not a very odd request, in fact Chotaro believes that this should be a thing in every country but a genin isn't a very good example of the Shinobi life, maybe they choose a genin so to not scare the young ones away from their duties as shinobi of their village.
"Okay! I'm Chotaro of the Akimichi clan, do any of you have questions?" Chotaro asked confidently, his voice filled with a tone he's never used before, one of authority. One young girl, couldn't have been older than ten years old raised her hand and when Chotaro pointed to her she spoke, "Um..." she paused, "I was just wondering if we would have to fight today?" her innocent voice hit home with Chotaro, a soft spot for young girls he does have. Chotaro put his hands in his pockets and looked at the young girl, brown hair with big bright green eyes, the picture perfect girl, aesthetic-wise. "No little lady, I'll protect you if we do." He assured the girl with a smile and a wink.
Chotaro looked at the line of the genin and picked his two, the little girl whose name is Ameya and a young boy by the name of Mogiru. "Awesome. Let's go little ones!" Chotaro led the two out of the academy area to show them what they will be doing for the day. What an exciting mission!
