She gave birth after a arduous seven hours in labor to baby girl. She held her tenderly in her arms cradling the child with tears gracing her eyes. Her beautiful baby girl had been born, and her name would be Kaya, Kaya Minamoto. She passed away a week later, a fate she had long accepted, having a body that could not withstand childbirth. Thus as by her wishes as selfish as they were, she entrusted Kaya to the Order's care. Kaya was a child of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei.

As soon as Kaya was able to walk and talk, her upbringing shifted from raising a healthy happy carefree child to that of a future asset to the world, to their noble cause. Every day was a day in which words, ideas, concepts and knowledge were crammed into her mind. They were taught about nature, and the peace that nature is when left to its own devices. Anything and everything had a counterpart, anything errors were swiftly balanced by nature. Because humans are harder to be influenced by the forces of nature, it would be upon humans to provide that corrective balance. Serenity and peace with nature granted all the orphans a natural aptitude for feeling, able to sense and feel the presence of the world around them without use of the five main senses. They were trained to hone their bodies as well as their minds as a weak body cannot support a strong mind and spirit. The masters of Onmyōdō Shintaisei were so in touch with balance they could with the assistance of animal counterparts take in a force known as Natural Energy and harness it as if it was part their own bodies. The training of the many orphans was comparable to that of a scholar, a monk, philosopher and a Shinobi. The environment of believers in the cause from those raised with the teachings and those brought around by the teachings meant it became a way of life for everyone there including Kaya. On the sixth year of life she would first observe Konohagakure and as per the optional customs of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei, Kaya would hide her identity. Transferred over to the branch in the outskirts of Konohagakure she was afflicted with the unique toxins that they typically used to cause the chakra system to remain active though just minimally to mask the fact a transformation technique was in place. Kaya, under the guise of 'Tenma', an orphan integrated herself into the village coming to play with the other children in the park and getting those occasional free treats from the old lady at the dango shop, a perfect guise considering it was for the most part true. All she was tasked to do was observe the people, listen to the words of the Shinobi there; no one suspected a child that young was actually spying on them, listening in to a conversation that would hold to meaning or relevance to a seven year old.

Her final transfer was to Sunagakure village's orphanage. After silent observing citizen in numerous hidden villages, including all the major nations thanks to the false paperwork, false trails and false identities all prepared by the inside agents deployed around the nations in all different walks of life. Kaya was instructed that she would become a Sunagakure ninja. She was trusted to pledge of allegiance to the village and follow the will of the village whilst remaining an active member of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei, still maintaining the ethos of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei. Conflicting the ideals due to the village would be fine so long as greater balance would be provided in turn. A small home was provided and Kaya joined the academy of Sunagakure. Naturally her abilities were superior to her peers considering her age and the strict training imposed upon her from birth allowing her to become a Genin with ease. However she would always in public hide her face behind a mask and clothes and would keep to herself. For the longest time her fellow Genin thought she was a mute or something on those lines, communicating with nods of the head, hand gestures and small noises. It was only during the time of the Chuunin exams that she began to interact with her peers. It seemed like Kaya was here for the long haul.

Kaya as a Chuunin undertook numerous missions both for Sunagakure and secretly for the Onmyōdō Shintaisei. During the years she assassinated targets such as criminals, corrupt politicians and figures, bandits and the like as well as providing information on the Shinobi side of things to the Order. Each time she would take on another identity to do so, another face, another persona. Disguising herself as a harmless small child, a drunken man, a travelling merchant. She managed to separate the two lives carefully and discreetly all the while building up a decent reputation as a very adept Shinobi albeit not so social, though much more than before. Most of the missions she was given as such were ones she could do alone. It was not long before she was promoted to Jounin.

Serenity and peace with nature granted all the orphans a natural aptitude for feeling, able to sense and feel the presence of the world around them without use of the five main senses. They were trained to hone their bodies as well as their minds as a weak body cannot support a strong mind and spirit. The masters of Onmyōdō Shintaisei were so in touch with balance they could with the assistance of animal counterparts take in a force known as Natural Energy and harness it as if it was part their own bodies. The training of the many orphans was comparable to that of a scholar, a monk, philosopher and a Shinobi. The environment of believers in the cause from those raised with the teachings and those brought around by the teachings meant it became a way of life for everyone there including Kaya. Though she knew she was reaching that age where children were placed into villages to observe them from the inside.

On the sixth year of life she would first observe Konohagakure and as per the optional customs of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei, Kaya would hide her identity. Transferred over to the branch in the outskirts of Konohagakure she was afflicted with the unique toxins that they typically used to cause the chakra system to remain active though just minimally to mask the fact a transformation technique was in place. Kaya, under the guise of 'Tenma', an orphan integrated herself into the village coming to play with the other children in the park and getting those occasional free treats from the old lady at the dango shop, a perfect guise considering it was for the most part true. All she was tasked to do was observe the people, listen to the words of the Shinobi there; no one suspected a child that young was actually spying on them, listening in to a conversation that would hold to meaning or relevance to a seven year old.

Her final transfer was to Sunagakure village's orphanage. After silent observing citizen in numerous hidden villages, including all the major nations thanks to the false paperwork, false trails and false identities all prepared by the inside agents deployed around the nations in all different walks of life. Kaya was instructed that she would become a Sunagakure ninja. She was trusted to pledge of allegiance to the village and follow the will of the village whilst remaining an active member of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei, still maintaining the ethos of the Onmyōdō Shintaisei. Conflicting the ideals due to the village would be fine so long as greater balance would be provided in turn. A small home was provided and Kaya joined the academy of Sunagakure. Naturally her abilities were superior to her peers considering her age and the strict training imposed upon her from birth allowing her to become a Genin with ease. However she would always in public hide her face behind a mask and clothes and would keep to herself. For the longest time her fellow Genin thought she was a mute or something on those lines, communicating with nods of the head, hand gestures and small noises. It was only during the time of the Chuunin exams that she began to interact with her peers. It seemed like Kaya was here for the long haul.

Kaya as a Chuunin undertook numerous missions both for Sunagakure and secretly for the Onmyōdō Shintaisei. During the years she assassinated targets such as criminals, corrupt politicians and figures, bandits and the like as well as providing information on the Shinobi side of things to the Order. Each time she would take on another identity to do so, another face, another persona. Disguising herself as a harmless small child, a drunken man, a travelling merchant. She managed to separate the two lives carefully and discreetly all the while building up a decent reputation as a very adept Shinobi albeit not so social, though much more than before. Most of the missions she was given as such were ones she could do alone. It was not long before she was promoted to Jounin.

A Jounin of Sunagakure, she had spent the most part of her life as a member of the village; a grown comfort although she wished for more interesting days. The present was ever changing and new adventure lay ahead.

Family/Siblings:

It is unknown to Kaya whether she has any living relatives, her mother never shared that information with the orphanage before she passed on.

Morals:

Morality is an interesting concept of Kaya herself. She has a decent enough moral grounding but not in a lawful sense. Instead she follows a concept of keeping balance in the world, whether it follows law or not, or perhaps a moral conscience. Children who break balance in the world are to be judged like anyone and anything else. The goal is balance and morality does not feature in achieving that goal.

Values:

As it has been noted many times, Kaya values balance. Balance to her means she will keep stability, not seek power for the sake of power, protection of those who hold similar views, peace over war lest it necessary for balance. In the end she seeks a harmonious world.

Boundaries:

Kaya's boundaries are blurred. There is very little she would not do. Her boundaries would be considered anything that would break her own mentally perceived balance and actions which break the ideal of balance that she was taught.

Dislikes:

Heat: Kaya is extra sensitive regarding the temperature. She prefers the cool greatly to hot days. It is especially ironic she ended up in the hottest region of the five Major Nations.

Unassertive People: Opposite of what she likes. It's a deficiency if you lack the ability to operate off your own head when ideal.

Crowds: Kaya dislikes getting caught in crowds. Not only are they hard to see over, they make her feel claustrophobic.

Downtime: She always wants to keep busy with something unless she's off to sleep. Having nothing to do bores her.
