A cool return

As night feel upon the village, Banquo made his way back through the waterfall passage that kept enemies from invading. He now stood in the village itself, just a few meters from the edge of the lake. It's pristine water shined brightly in the moonlight and brought a smile to Banquo's face. Behind him was the clone from earlier, the Kumogakure jounin's body still sitting haphazardly on it's shoulder. Banquo formed a hand-seal and the clone dissipated, causing the body to fall roughly to the ground.

Stepping foreward, Banquo knelt down beside the man and formed some hand-seals, before placing said hand on the man's forehead. A stream of images flooded into the chuunin's mind. It was the same jutsu he had used on Twilight to extract her memories, but the jounin's unconscious state and lack of a bijuu made it much easier to concentrate. Eventually, when he was satisifed the he had all of the boy's information, Banquo took his hand away. The world of the man's mind faded away and Banquo once again found himself in Takigakure.

The moon had moved significantly and sweat ran down his brow. His hand ached as if it had been in that same position for hours. Apparently it had. "Hmm. Nero Uchiha, a jounin of Kumogakure. I think it is your lucky day. You may lose your eyes, but with a life like that it would be an injustice of me to kill you."

As he knelt over the man, Banquo felt a second kind of chakra besides fire release. "Hmmm, or perhaps you have something else I can use." Sifting through the memories, Banquo looked for any other jutsu that the man might know that wasnt fire release. He found no memories of such a technique. However Banquo was certain by the man's chakra signature that there was something else esides his Sharingan and Fire Release that made him special.

He knew most jounin were capable of a second Nature Release. Perhaps that was it. Perhaps this man had a second element that Banquo's primitive sensing abilities couldn't quite focus on. With a sigh, he raised his arm above the man's chest and smiled. The man had now awoken and was struggling in his bonds, but it would do him no good. From Banquo's hand spread a mass of black threads. He considered removing the explosive tag coveering the man's eyes, so that he could see his still beating heart ripped from his own chest. However, he thought it wiser to remain unseen, what with the man's legendary Dojutsu.

The black threads pierced the man's chest and began ripping the flesh to shreds. The body of the jounin began writhing in pain, but it was all for naught as he was violently torn apart. Within seconds, the black threads had opened a sizeable hole in the man's chest. Within the hole, Banquo saw the man's heart, still pumping fresh blood which now poured out on to the ground. As the threads began delicately pulling the heart from it's place, the body writhed one last time before falling limp.

A smile on his face, Banquo moved the heart up to his chest where an opening appeared as the black threads making up his body shifted away. He had been careful to hide this jutsu from all, even Twilight. As the black threads deposited the heart into his chest, the whole closed back up and Banquo let the body fall to the ground. From his pocket, he produced a small piece of paper. To most it would look normal, but to a shinobi this paper proved invaluable for determining their chakra nature. Banquo held the slip of paper between his fingers and watched as it first crinkled, setting his heart aflutter. Then the paper began to brown and before it could crumble was set ablaze.

Two of these events were expected, but it was the first that had him excited. This man truly had been a valuable asset to him. Banquo stood, then turned from the now lifeless body. Walking a few meters, he then formed a hand-seal. From behind, an explosion could be heard and if one lokked at the area, all they would find is a dead body and little chunks of head strewn about. As for Banquo, he would simply walk away without even glancing back.
