| Character Template_________________________________________________________________________________ Name: Zayn Hyūga Age: 17 Village: Takigakure Rank: Jōnin - A Appearance: Zayn is a fairly tall young man. He stands at six foot two inches which is far taller then most people his age. Zayn has a very lean body type however he isn't necessarily lanky or skinny. He only ways about 185 pounds which isn't bad due to the majority of it being muscle and what not. This came from his time as being ninja and the constant training endured when younger. His skin is clear and it has a light skinned tone to it. Zayn has greenish-brownish eyes which is an abnormality due to him being a Hyūga however this is because him being a Senju along with a Hyūga. The pigmentation of his eye happens to change whenever his byakugan is active to the normal off white color that most Hyūga are known for. This in no way interferes with his ability with the byakugan. It was also extremely confusing for his aunt and uncle until an earlier age. They assumed that he had the ability of Mokuton due to this abnormality however it was discovered down the line that he did indeed have the ability of the Hyūga. His hair is brown, short and usually messy. As far as clothes go Zayn could usually be found in a kariginu, that has multiple different colors depending on his taste for the day. The main color he wears is usually green as it's one of his favorite color. He could also be found wearing a face veil along with this along with multiple different necklaces and traditional ninja sandles. Zayn got his sense of style from his Uncle. Before wearing Kariginu's Zayn would usually wear the regular vest that and pants that most ninja of his rank would wear. This changed though due to it also being easier for him to practice Gentle Fist in. It was easier for him to move in it and allowed him flow with the style of the Gentle Fist ultimately allowing for him to improve this skill even more. Personality:Zayn is an individual who is marked by modesty in his behavior, attitude, and spirit. He became this way through the environment in which he grew up, this was how he was raised. Although he does have submissive respect he believes that respect is something that not all people deserve. Most people would take his humility as as a sort of weakness. But, any wise man who has ever met him would know this not be true. This is due to the fact that there is much more to Zayn than just his humility. He meditates before he trains to put his mind and body at peace. A trait found in his family that is most common is the ability to show allegiance or support and stick with the people he loves through all their troubled times. He has seen many horrors in his life, which I guess you could say is where he learned the importance of friendship and loyalty. Zayn believes that people will find that patience is the key to many things in life, including combat. Another thing about Zayn is that he is capable of forgiving people, which is not a common quality that you find now in days in most people. Even though he is capable of forgiving people, his forgiveness only goes so far. Even somebody as humble as Zayn has their limit. You will also find that Zayn is one of the most calm people you will ever meet. During his training he was also very disciplined, which helped him control his emotions at a young age. Zayn has a optimistic spirit, and is chill at most times. Zayn's motto is "He who seeks knowledge begins with humbleness." It basically means that you don't flaunt around your success and that you are level headed, because those who are humble can handle the knowledge of power. He doesn't typically judge other people as he knows how annoying it could truly be. But if people do feel the need to over do it, Zayn will be sure to explain to them what they're doing wrong. Zayn is generally quiet, but he speaks his mind if he feels the need. Most girls consider him to be a handsome kind-hearted guy. He keeps a cool head around most ladies, and digs blondes. Most people find him to be brutally honest at times. They say sometimes he tells the truth too much. Zayn is also known for being truly observant, noticing things that the normal would miss sometimes. Zayn is an accepting person, and also open-minded to a certain extent. He doesn't mind new ideas, and can tolerate even ones that others may consider dumb. Sometimes Zayn is more accepting than he should be, which can be a very bad thing. Although to some it may appear that Zayn is too easy going, that can all change in the blink of an instant if you try to take advantage of him. He understands that even if people are your friends they're capable of doing things that you never thought they can do. So, because of this Zayn is very careful in who he gives out his trust to. He understands the fact that people are not always as they seem to be. Over the years Zayn built the sturdy mind of a thinker. He likes to clear his head to think of all the possibilities and outcomes of situations. Even though Zayn is very intelligent and understands when it's time to give up in the heat of battle he could sometimes be very stubborn. For instance he is very uptight about his village. For him to be somebody of such composure, talking about his village seems to be the one thing that can make an enemy out of him fast. Despite him being accepting at what not Zayn is no fool. He knows of the people of this world and doesn't like it when people attempt to bullshit him as that will lead to there death swiftly. Another thing about as it shows is that he is very heartless when it comes to his enemy. No type of emotion is shown towards those who Zayn consider an enemy and his calm personality completely changes. Story:- Birth:
Zayn was born in a on a rainy day in Konohagakure. A very unique and different baby boy, Zayn was born into two very esteemed families. Zayn was named after his great-grandfather Wayne. Zayn's Father, Tyrone was a well renowned ninja in Konohagakure before Zayn's arrival. He was known as one of the most skilled ninjas and was a master of Ninjutsu and Ijutsu. Yuki on the other hand was a master of Taijutsu and Sensory and was also known for her speed and visual prowess. Tyrone came from the Senju clan and Yuki from the Hyūga clan. Zayn was had one year after they had a boy by the name of Terry Senju. Tyrone was a Jōnin along with Yuki. Yuki however was a member of the ANBU black ops due to her tracking abilities. Tyrone at the time Zayn was born was married to a woman by the name of Katherine Senju. She was the birth Mother of Terry who was Zayn's half-brother. Yuki at the time was also married. The two both couldn't afford to keep Zayn so they ended up sending him away with Yuki's sister and brother Jayne and Jay Hyūga. They were the only people who knew the entirety of the situation and were glad to take Zayn in since they couldn't have a baby themselves due to fertility problems.One thing they found weird about Zayn when he came out the womb was his eyes. They figured it was because he had inherited Mokuton and not the Byakugan as this was quite unusual. This was hard on both Yuki and Tyrone however it was something they thought had to be done at the time.
After Zayn was born and went to Taki, his Aunt had to put being a ninja on hold because due to needing someone at home to watch their nephew. Jayne and Jay were both highly ranking ninja being both Jōnin and were both skilled in sensory. However Jay was skilled in Ninjutsu too and Jayne a master of weaponry. They raised him as if he was their own and would always teach him proper respect growing up. Around the age of four his Aunt and Uncle started teaching him the simple things that he needed to live. When he was younger Zayn loved to read and enjoyed learning new things. Although his Uncle was always away on missions, Zayn and him were very close. He always thought it was cool that his Uncle was a ninja. Because he was so young he didn't exactly know what it meant to be a ninja yet, but when he would grow up to become one he would eventually know what it would truly mean.
When he was at the age of around the age of five his aunt and uncle taught him basic fighting techniques. By this time, Zayn was a very enthusiastic and dedicated young man. His Aunt taught him basic Taijutsu skills and Zayn's uncle taught him how to control his chakra. They told him he would learn so much more when he went on to the academy. They told him that he would he would some day grow up to be as strong, or maybe even stronger than them. Zayn was very determined to learn more and couldn't wait until next year, which was when he was going to be getting enrolled into the academy. To become powerful like his parents was one of his biggest motivations.
- Academy:
Zayn's Mom's siblings enrolled their nephew into the ninja academy at when he was six, which is unusual but his Uncle and Aunt knew he was ready at a younger age than most. It was a new experience for Zayn to be around other kids his age. Most of his cousins and family were older or young than him and lived in the Land of Fire which he wouldn't visit until he was much older. He felt like the odd one out because he was in fact the youngest in the class. Zayn often kept to his self at first, since he was the youngest. He listened to the advice the instructors gave him so he could succeed and become a great ninja just like his Uncle. Which was one of his motivations to keep getting better.
The longer Zayn stayed in the academy, the more comfortable he got being around other people. Most of the other kids in the class were jealous of the natural talent that Zayn possessed in the Shinobi arts. He excelled in all of his classes. This was because he trained very hard, and was also taught some of things prior to the time of him joining the academy. Zayn brought home very good grades, his Uncle and Aunt were very proud of him. When he was around the age of 7, Zayn had ran into a problem at school. Three of the school bullies attempted to jump Zayn because they were jealous of him making good grades. They each tried to attack him but Zayn was stronger than they thought. One kid threw a punch at his head, Zayn avoided this and the kid ended up punching his friend. Then, the next attempted to kick Zayn in his stomach, Zayn caught the kick and pushed his leg to the ground. Their Chūnin instructor than intervened and stopped anything else from happening. Zayn didn't get in trouble as his instructor seen that he was simply defending him self, but as for the other two they were punished for what they did. Zayn had then began to get into the art of sensory ad also furthering his adaptation into the Shinobi world.
He was just about eight, it was around the time for him to take his exams to become a Genin. The day before, his Uncle taught him how to do something that would help prepare him for his exams. Jay taught him how to meditate. It ended up becoming something that he would regularly do. Zayn took the exams the next day, and expected that he had done well as he tried his best. About a week later Zayn learned that he had earned the rank of Genin. One of his instructors told him that he would one day become one of the best ninjas in Takigakure. Zayn took this to heart and remembered it even until this day. Zayn's Aunt and Uncle were very happy that their nephew had passed on to be a Genin. He was only 8, when most kids graduated at the age of 10 or higher. His Uncle was very proud of him, so on the day he graduated his Uncle taught him how to personally control his chakra.
- Genin:
Zayn's Uncle and Aunt expected much of him as a Genin. He was very excited to go on missions and learn from his Senpai. Ever since the day Zayn learned how to control his chakra, he had practiced everyday until it was time for him to meet his Senpai. One thing that was discovered during his time as a Genin was his ability to use the Byakugan. It was unknown that he had it until one day while training with his Uncle. After this was found out both his Uncle and his Aunt began to build his skills with the Byakgan along with the chakra pathway system and what not. During training Zayn was rather silent. He would mostly keep to him self, and would just see from a distance. Although he was young he knew the importance of listening and observing, and not always talking. Zayn always listened to his teacher and he again even at a young age excelled in missions, and the techniques taught. His two team mates were very determined and hard-headed, but Zayn didn't mind it because he stayed to his self. Their team became one of the best teams in Takigakure. With Zayn's Byakugan, another teammate's Weaponry, and the last ones Genjutsu they were a talented team who worked together when it came down to it.
It was getting close to the time of the Chūnin exams. Zayn practiced especially with his Aunt for about a few months before the exams. Jayne had a surprise for Zayn, a style of martial arts that would help him get through his Chūnin exams. Jayne told Zayn she was going to teach him the a fighting style commonly used within the clan. Zayn was very excited about learning this fighting style. His Aunt thought it was about time to pass on the fighting style that used throughout the clan. Jayne taught him the basics of the style known as Gentle Fist and Zayn being a quick learner, picked it up very quick. Zayn's Uncle also helped him improve his Ninjutsu skills. After a couple weeks Jayne and Jay were very impressed with their nephews progress. So they pushed him a bit harder. Even though he was still young, Zayn didn't mind being pushed to his limit. It only made him want to try even harder than before.
A couple of weeks passed by and it was time for the Chūnin exams. While he waited on his match Zayn meditated and eased his mind. It calmed some of the nerves that he was experiencing. He was the underdog of the Chūnin exams. No one thought someone as young as him could win. The written exams for Zayn was of course no problem, as he always excelled in written studies. When he got to the first round of the Chūnin exams and beat his opponent seemingly easily. His opponent didn't hit him as he was too accurate for him.The second round Zayn's opponent hit him but it was a one time thing, as again Zayn's accuracy was uncounted for against fellow Genin. The third and final matches caused problem for Zayn. He ended up walking out of there with a broken nose and elbow. However, he still succeeding in beating him. Zayn proved to be very intelligent as he simply out smarted his opponent this time.
- Chūnin:
Zayn was one of the youngest Chūnin the village had ever seen. He was put into a team due to the Takikage's orders, and his young age. He was considered a prodigy of sorts now and was recognized around the village. For his age Zayn seemed to be very mature and easy going about all the things going on. By this time Zayn had adept skills in Ninjutsu. He also had been working on his other techniques and was a skilled Shinobi for such a young age. Around this time his Aunt began to start a job as a Cooking-Nin. Zayn was fine with this and went to help his Aunt cook on some days. Around this time Zayn became more social. He spoke much more with his fellow comrades and such.
Zayn, was ready for his first mission. It was to escort a noble to the land of fire. But before he left Zayn's Uncle told him that he had should meet the part of the clan in which they were from which was the Sōke. Jay said that his brother lived there and that Zayn should go see his uncle. Zayn was very interested in meeting the rest of his family so he told his Uncle that if it was allowed he would. The mission went rather well and Zayn got to meet his other Uncle. Little did Zayn know during this time Zayn would also be meeting his little brother and his biological mother. His Uncle was a kind-hearted older man. Zayn's Uncle's name was Kenshi, he was a very skilled swordsman to. Zayn and his Uncle were having tea and Kenshi told him multiple stories of when he was younger and stories about his other Uncle. Soon after this Zayn met a woman by the name of Yuki and her son Terry. Zayn was oblivious to the fact that these two were more than they actually appeared. Yuki teared up at the site of her son and Zayn didn't understand why. She had then took it upon herself to have him and his brother meet. Tyrone didn't mind it as it just became a sort of event between the two clans. This was a mystery to him until he got older. During that moment it was just odd and he just figured his Aunt was touchy feely or something of that sort. Around this time Zayn also got to meet his brother Terry whose face he would never forget.
It wasn't before long that Zayn returned to the village. But when Zayn returned to the village he was informed that his Uncle was stricken ill. He rushed through the town to the hospital. His Uncle told him that he was going to be a great Shinobi one day. He also told him that he had one last gift for him, that gift was the gift of wisdom that Zayn would later on learn more about from his other Uncle Kenshi. Zayn cried and grieved as someone should at his age. This was very hard on him, figuring he was still so young. He was only 12 years old when this happened. Even though he was going through tough times, this was the point in which Zayn shined the most. After his Uncle's death he developed a new work ethic. He shrived to be the best he could, it was just the way he dealt with grief. His Aunt didn't take it well , but she knew everything was going to be okay.
- Jōnin:
A year passed and a lot of things had changed in Zayn's life. Zayn had gotten promoted to Jōnin, which was very exciting for him. It was one of his goals to become the same rank as his Uncle & Aunt. He knew that if his Uncle was still alive he would be proud. Zayn's Aunt cried when she found out what her son had achieved. She was very proud of him, and was shocked at the young man her boy had become. Despite him being promoted to this new rank, Zayn would have to wait to get his own team do to the fact that his Senpai thought him not quite ready. By this time, Zayn had already become extremely talented with Taijutsu and had also developed other sensory abilities on top of his Byakugan. Zayn was just like his Uncle and Aunt in a way except he focused mainly on ninjutsu. He was one of the few who could keep up with his Senpai, even though his Senpai could best him in a battle due to his Senpai being one of the top ninjas in the village. Unless it was strictly Taijutsu then Zayn would win as this is what he trained mainly.
Zayn was always curious about the other side of his family. So one day he decided to visit the land of fire once more, where his Grandmother lived. Zayn went to ask a village elder for permission, he was fine with it because he knows Zayn's skills are very elite and the village elder also knew the importance of family. However, the village elder did send Zayn's Senpai with him just in case. Almost all of the travel there was pretty easy going, except when almost to the land of Fire the two got attacked. Zayn and his Senpai easily took out the attackers. They seemed to be mere thieves looking for trouble, and got what they deserved. Soon Zayn and his Senpai were in the land of Fire where part of Zayn's family lived. Zayn knocked on the door and his Grandmother answered. His Grandmother was an old lady with a funny sense of humor. Zayn very much enjoyed meeting her, as she told stories about Zayn's mom which he found hilarious even though he didn't know they were about his biological mother at the time.
At about the age of 16 things took a turn for the worst for Zayn. His Aunt who had raised him also ended up dying. However there was something she told him on her death bed. This would be a turning point in Zayn's life. She told him as she sat there in her last dying breath that Zayn was not her biological son. Jayne also explained how much her mother didn't want to give him up and what not but had to. This completely confused Zayn he didn't understand almost entirely. She had then explained to him in depth about how Terry Senju was his brother and that the woman he thought to be his Aunt was really his mother. She also told him that his Father was Tyrone Senju. She then died on him shortly after that but made sure in advising him not to just barge into Konohagakure. Zayn wasn't the stupid type so he didn't plan on doing that however all this information did hit him pretty hard. He began to slack after this shortly and lost his way for quite a bit of time. For him not to know about someone being his family was in a way devastating. However, shortly after his 17th birthday he went back to handling death the only way he knew how which was by training. This was a rather hard time for the young ninja however it seems lately he isn't completely distraught over the event anymore but now focuses pretty heavily on work and missions and what not, planning to once again reunite with his brother one day.

This mission was a little bit more difficult than Zayn thought it would be, but he didn't really mind. He enjoyed the challenge that the mission bring. As the caravan drove down the middle of the street suddenly chains shot at the caravan along with a fire spell. Before Zayn could react Pride's orbs had stopped the spells that were aimed at the caravan. It appears that these two spells had came from mages trying to steal the cargo off of the caravan. Zayn let out a calm sigh. Pride then told everybody in the caravan to get out of it as the caravan came to a stop. What appeared to be four mages then rushed out from the streets. He was ready to get back into action. With his hands still engulfed in flames Zayn analyzed his four opponents. The four mages appeared to be about 8m away from Pride & Zayn. "I'll take the two on the left and you take the two on the right," Zayn told Pride. Each of the four mages stood about 2m away from each other. He started to think of ways of how to handle the two mages who stood in front of him. While in the middle of thought one of the mages Zayn aimed to fight had fire began to form in his hand. He then aimed at Zayn's head. Since he aimed at Zayn's head it made him relatively easy for him to move out of the way. Zayn would then roll to his left out of the way of the fireball. Almost immediately after he rolled, Zayn then extended his hand out making a purple magic seal appear. 10 scattered bullets flew towards Zayn's towards the four mages. This spell was exactly what Zayn needed for the advantage. Five would be aimed at Zayn's two opponents, and the other five Pride's. One of Pride's opponent put up a wall that appeared to be made of metal. This protected him completely and the mage next to him from only one bullet. The mage on his left ended up getting hit wit three of the bullets ending up with him being knocked out. The opponent who cast a fireball at Zayn was hit by three bullets while the other one was able to dodge the last two. Instantly after Zayn cast his spell he darted for the one who was still standing. His right side was open to the other mage but he had faith that Pride would take care of him. While rushing towards his opponent all of a sudden the man who he was rushing at unleashed chains at Zayn, the same ones that were targeted at the caravan. Since he was running full speed at the man Zayn didn't have time to simply dodge it, so then extended his hand while running and a magic seal appeared in front of him creating a shield that blocked the mage's chains. Zayn figured most mages were weak in hand to hand combat, which is why he was closing in the distance. As Zayn ran at him he threw a kick aimed for the mage's liver with his left leg. Zayn's assumptions were right as the man wouldn't have fast enough reflexes to block the kick, which caused him a pain in his side which you could hear in his groan. After that Zayn followed up with a punch to his nose with his right hand, resulting in a knock out because of the spell Zayn had previously casted that increased his punching power.
