Appearance: Jirou appears with a long sandy brown hair which is tied in a low ponytail with long fringes in both sides and brown eyes. When out and about he wears a blue high-neck sleeveless shirt with a brown belt on the right side of his waist with extra belts with the same color, white pants and brown and yellow leather boots. He wears a brown bracelet in both of his hands and has a yellow scarf on his waist. When in official capacity he wears a white and gray royal jacket under a royal blue turtleneck, shirt, black pants and white and gray royal boots. He also wears a silver necklace that sticks in his neck.
Personality: Jirou appears to be calm and collected at most times but becomes cold and detached when intending to kill someone. When in official capacity he appears as a stoic and yet very serious person who relies to his comrades, however he maintains his cold and distant demeanor in case those same comrades he relies on are killed. He appears to be overprotective of those Konohans who appear to be weaker than him (namely civilians and those of lower ninja rank). He finds it much easier to form relationships, and has a lot more relationships, with civilians than with fellow ninja because the probability of them getting prematurely killed in a violent death (especially one he might be partially responsible for due to lack of power or poor judgement) if far less likely. This protects him from possible emotional backlash or guilt. His attitude towards such people (civilians) is far more natural and relaxed. In fact, he's the typical guy's guy and has been known to let loose on more than one infamous occasion. His strong sense of justice has been known to get him into trouble since it sometimes tends to cloud his better judgment. He's known to donate frequently.
Story: Jirou was originally from a royal family in a minor far away land. During a coup, he was forced to flee along with his family. Unfortunately the rest of his family wasn't as lucky as him. As the sole survivor and a boy with a country sized bullseye painted on him, he fled as far as he could go, as fast as he could. The new lands were strange to him, but they were better than what he left behind, so he learned to live with it. In fact, he did more than just get by, he soon thrived for as the saying went 'different lands, same rules'. Same rules except for one thing. Chakra! It was a fascinating art, so alien and exotic. So intoxicating. The rules of engagement and power were no longer bound by convention of numbers. It represented security and an answer to Jirou's quest to solve his own powerlessness, the same powerlessness that forced him to stand by, nay, to run away while all that was dear to him died or was taken away.
And as luck with have it, he was not only born with the spark of chakra, but was quite talented. And he sure as hell didn't lack for motivation and dedication. However, he was after all a stranger to it all and deprived of the many benefits that chakra users from families with long traditions in the art took for granted. But still, what was a quest without challenges to be overcome?

Morals: Jirou acts as a good person is expected or required to act. He combines a commitment to oppose evil with his responsibilities as a ninja to the village. When not in official capacity he tells the truth, keeps his word, helps those in need, speaks out against injustice and punishes the guilty whenever possible...provided any of the above actions, to the best of his knowledge, wouldn't adversely affect the ninja village for the village's norms are his norms.
Jirou combines honor with compassion when not in official capacity.
He is naturally helpful and trusting of others, which in turn usually makes others find him trustworthy. He believes unquestionably that all laws and rules followed and enforced by the village are absolute and the best and most just course of action. He feels no guilt when enforcing laws, rules and orders given by higher ups. In his eyes, laws and orders have little room for interpretation so when faced with a dilemma he goes with the closest, most common and most accepted understand of such a law/order.
Values: Justice, Obedience, Honor, Freedom, Liberty, Equity.
Boundaries: Jirou would never harm a civilian or helpless ninja (even from an enemy nation) unless explicitly ordered to do so. He would never execute anyone, period. He would never initiate a conflict with anyone unless their actions or inaction adversely affect the village's interests.
Motto: 'Collateral damage' is just another way of saying 'I'm too lazy or stupid to aim my attacks only at my enemies'.
Likes: Muffins, comedians, weak humble people, caution, people who can make up their mind and make clear decisive decisions.
Dislikes: Injustice, incompetence, any form of someone lording his power over another, reckless people, reckless people with subordinates, incompetent reckless people with subordinates.
